Most Palestinians think the Islamic insurgency forced Israel's decision to unilaterally withdraw from the Gaza Strip, according to a new poll.

That does not 'bode well for a fight against terrorism though.

No reason for these idiots to think otherwise. The Israeli's know exactly what this withdrawal will mean...renewed attacks.

It happened when Israel withdrew from northern Lebanon. Shit, within weeks, terrorists were launching rockets into Israel from northern Lebanon.

These freaks at the State Department who think that israeli withdrawal from territories they gained when they beat down their attackers will somehow reduce these attacks have got be clinically insane...

They left Lebanon with their tail between their legs after the battering Hezbollah gave them.

Yeah, that's why they left... They left because they were bowing to international pressure and believed that the Arabs would restrain their terror pals. They were wrong.

They will be wrong this time, too.

The only thing that has worked in reducing the terror attacks has been Israeli ops to kill terror leaders and the Israeli fence/wall.

If the Arabs could restrain themselves they wouldn't be killed by the Israeli's. Frankly, the US should join in...shooting fish in the barrel can be good exercise for both men and equipment.

Mvscal, you think the withdrawal will have the effect of reducing terrorism against Israeli's?

Seriously?

I understand why they're doing it. However, we'd surely be disappointed if we believed that in doing it terrorism would diminish.
