Personally I see nothing wrong with this at all. This isn't about money per se, as it is about the chance to play yourself into a money role. Volek has produced when given the shot and deserves to be a starter somewhere. Rosenhaus wouldn't be doing his job if he didn't seek a potential trade to best suit the needs of his client.

Well his stock has soared because of that 2004 season, and quite frankly, he should be starting for the Bears this year. However he will get another 10 games this year because McNair will go down again.

True, but the market has shifted. Agree with DF here, as Rosenhaus is simply exploring options and seeing if the potential is out there for Volek to improve his position.

In the end, it's up to the player to choose the path and manner with which he deals with such negotiations. Obviously, Volek and Owens are reading from a different handbook here.

But continue to blame Rosenhaus.

Nonsensical public demands for trades and contract renegotiations do not "best suit the needs of his clients".

It's only a matter of time before Jew Rosendouche is blackballed.
Volek has proven himself capable of starting in the NFL. Rosenhaus just wants to see if a starters position is out there for his client. What part of that is nonsensical? This thread isn't about renegotiating a contract so lets stick to the topic at hand.

Anyone read Rosenhaus's book? yeah, me neither.

Anyway, apparently he says in his book that agents should not negotiate contracts etc.. through the media. (I heard this on a sports radio station) I guess he was just being sarcastic in his book? He's done nothing BUT negotiate contracts and roster status through the media.

Mvscal is right, he's digging his own grave.

Neither... KC Purse Strings v 0.0 is the obvious answer.

Psst ... Rosenhaus isn't the one throwing temper tantrums and telling coordinators not to speak unless spoken to. Rosenhaus wasn't the one conducting interviews while doing sit-ups in his driveway, and he's definitely not the one that has been alienating his teammates in the media for the entire off-season.

Dude definitely ruffles some feathers, but to say he screwed Owens over is laughable, at best.

Owens doesn't need any help at all in that department.

Collin Cowherd on ESPN Radio this morning found the perfect word to describe TO.

And you think TO would actually heed such advice?

Besides trying to explain reality to you, I really can't imagine a bigger waste of time.

Amazes me when a guy can be on an agreeable side of an argument by my accounts and STILL make a KC Panocha out of himself...
