Jacksonville.com gave it a good review as well. Not that Jacksonville.com staff writers are big time hot shots, but whatever.

I'm loving it. It's on par with, and possibly better than, their first two. "The Bleeding Heart Show" is my favourite song of the year.

Yep. Buy. Catching Neko at the Zoo on Sunday. My local record store just hosted a New Pornographers in-store Tuesday night, and it was straight butter if a bit short (as they usually are... ~ 45 minutes to an hour).

digging it for sure. since they're not headed to PGH this time around, I'll definitely be catching them in Cleveland or NYC

Good afternoon!

Just wanted to say I've listened to this album twice already and I'm not sure I like it. I find it kinda annoying.

Something's wrong with me...I know. :(

They're coming here, to some venue I've never been to.

I can hardly wait to miss it.

Speaking of, if I was really motivated, I could go see the dreadful 2 Live Crew at the Mt Tabor, which is one of my favorite clubs, in a strictly Hawthorne District sort of way. They usually don't charge more than $5-6 for cover, either.

Nah. Can't do it. If somebody gave me freebies, I'd go see Pearl Jam at the Not-In-The-Gorge Amphitheater tomorrow night, though. There's only about 2 shows left in the season there.

My friend just saw 2 Live Crew a couple weeks ago. He got free tickets and he still said it was weak as hell. Brother Marquis isn't even in the group anymore. It's just Fresh Kid Ice waving his gimpy arm around to their 15-year-old "hits." He did get his picture taken with the Kid, though. He said he kinda felt sorry for him. I guess the backstage room at this dumpy club smelled like piss.
