Talked to my Ohio State buddy this morning...getting ugly in Columbus

He is the one who went to school there and now lives in Austin and is a business owner.

Talked to him just a few seconds ago and he told me he saw two different fights last night between fans. Said one was at a bar by campus....can't remember the name.....but there were a group of Texas fans/students at a table and some OSU fans were throwing what he thought were french fries at them. Well, one of the ladies at the table ended up getting hit by one with some Ketchup on it and got up with the bottle walked over to the OSU table and squirted it on all of them (said that was funny). This obviously didn't go over well and from what he said, the Texas students that were there and defended her got a pretty good ass whooping as they were out numbered by quite a bit.

Said the second one was in front of the same bar and he wasn't sure what started it because it was already in full swing when he walked outside...said the three UT guys were big ole' boys and were holding their own pretty well before the cops showed up.

He did tell me this would happen before he even went up there for the game. Said it's pretty normal - called me to tell me it's already getting crazy.

Sounds like classy fans.

This thread has made me realize that I have posting with some of you for going on 7 years now. Most of us started out at the old Jim Rome site and have just gone from board to board. Back when we were on the Rome board we pretty much sounded like all the assholes on hornfans or bucknut.
