Rhett Bomar should have played baseball

Post by TheJON »

It doesn't look like the football thingy is gonna work out too well for him.

Dude needs to learn to gravy train off of his teamates talents like Jason White did.

My prediction....

UCLA 45
Oklahoma 0

Sorry, I didn't think this board had enough Sooner threads so I thought I'd start another one.

I like rubbing blOwU's nose in it as much as anyone especially since they would be doing it to me and the Texas program. But keep in mind that Bomar is throwing to a very green receiving corp behind a very bad offensive line. Bomar is going to improve each game and by the end of the year he will probably be tossing 300+ games. Next year it will probably be business as usual.

Why do I think this? Mostly because I have spent two years watching Vince grow and though Vince still does not have that great form he has grown and one of the biggest growing processes has been with his young receiving corp.

OUfan likes to run the Line that Texas always has the #1 recruiting class but the fact is over the last 3 years OU has completely out recruited Texas but all those classes are young. They are going to struggle early on then they will be bad ass.

Is this one of those signs that the apocolypse is upon us?

Nice drive-by douche bag. I'm sure you will be "too busy" to check the board out for most of this year, but this is pathetic. Glass house much JON?

Frozen,

Actually, you posted Jason Mansons numbers against ISU. Not Tate's. Tate went down in the 2nd quarter with a concussion. He was 5-11 for 57 yards.

All I'm saying is this board needs more Sooner threads. So I thought I'd start one. Why the hostility in here???

And Buckeye....

Actually, I think Tate will make Hawk and the rest of the Luckeye defense his bitch just like he did last year. Now go tell your coach not to buy any of his players a car on his way to practice today.

Bhomar's first two games leave a ton to be desired but it is far too early to say he should have played baseball. He is only part of the problem with OU's offense. Things will improve as experience is gained, could have a solid O by season's end if Long figures out how to play to qb strengths more. I'd be using Bhomar's wheels much more, this isn't White sitting back there with two gimpy knees.

Didn't you say the same thing BEFORE the ISU game?

Also, where have you been, BitchBoy? That game ended on Saturday, I do believe... It's Thursday now. I mean, tail tucked is one thing, but surely you're not "too busy," what with your life as President of the Ryan Hansen fanclub and all.

Does it just suck being you? You actually think you can stroll in here after taking an ass-kicking, from a team that you're constantly talking shit both to and about, in a game nobody outside of you and ISU fans cares about, and NOT expect to get run smooth the fuck right back off?

You need to worry about how to stop the juggernaut that is ISU before you worry about what Rhett Bomar is doing for the Sooners.

Post Script -- AB, don't ever do that again. It's already raining outside, and you had me looking up at the sky for frogs and / or blood.
Congrats, Wags. Good win.
