We just got hit by a bucket load of tornados
I've been home all day watching the weather channel for rita updates and the local weather is showing nothing all day then tonight we get this huge storm spring up north of the Twin cities and it comes right over my house dropping about 4 tornados all over the North Suburbs where I live. As far as I know all that really happened was a few trees got knocked down but sure was an adventure for about 2 hours.

Actually I was going to be Frozen_Bill but that would have forced Frozen_Sooner to change his name to Believe the Bomar and he is not ready to take that step yet.Waz wrote:when the hell did austinbill become twin cities bill? The irony is that I'm starting to really like it up here and not wanting to go back any more.

BTW after watching the news tonight the reason this storm just popped up like it did...Tropical conditions in the area. meaning hot and humid.
How the hell does Minneapolis Minnesota have tropical conditions in September. :brad:

You obviously haven't lived there for very long. Give it an entire summer. It's worse than Oklahoma / Louisana with the humidity, and, depending on where you live, some of the older places don't have AC.Vito Corleone wrote:BTW after watching the news tonight the reason this storm just popped up like it did...Tropical conditions in the area. meaning hot and humid.

Also, I don't know where in the area you've living, but I can recommend a few bars for you to check out a game at, if you're interested...
