Cal gets group effort in splendid running game

I am continually impressed by the unselfishness and character of these young men. Tedford has done a great job recruiting quality players, who happen to be outstanding human beings too.

I also cannot remember Cal ever being this deep in talent at every position on the field. I believe this is a good team, who by the end of the year this year, and the beginning of next year, is going to be a great team, capable of winning the national championship (I can't believe I actually typed those words, but believe it!).

Bama has:

Kenneth Darby, Glen Coffee, Jimmy Johns and Roy Upchurch (who'll redshirt)...all of whom could be 1000 yard rushers.


Might help if our o-line wasn't so young.

Bama played really well last weekend against SC. I was suprised, since SC played Georgia so close the week before.
