Found this short video regarding training in the Lifeguard. A BBC puff piece, but interesting, as it's hard to find things like this.

The interview is laughable and should be disregarded, but the rest is completely mad - a Bruce Lee type thing with DPRK troops being whacked with sticks, chucking tri-stars and having concrete blocks broken over their faces:
