Is Rep. Ginny Brown-Waite (R-Fla.) cynical or just honest? Either way, she sure has an interesting job description for herself.

Speaking at the Women Impacting Public Policy conference last week, the second-term lawmaker elicited a roar of laughter from the crowd by recalling an exchange she had with a man on an airplane shortly after she entered politics.

After he asked her what she did for a living, she replied, ever so matter of factly, “I’m a hooker.”

“Excuse me?” came his reply.

“That’s right, I said I’m a hooker,” she explained. “I have to go up to total strangers, ask them for money and get them to expect me to be there when they need me. What does that sound like to you?”

When asked about the remark, Brown-Waite’s press secretary, Charlie Keller, said that although he wrote the speech, “that was ad-libbed.”

“That is perfectly her sense of humor,” he said.

The proposition you put forth is preposterous. The Republican Party is the party of life.

Your attempts to distort, spin, lie, cheat, steal, and otherwise engage in a fabrication of reality have been duly noted, recorded, and added to the list.

The REAL party that already suggests the aborting of black babies, is of course, the DNC.

Yeah, exactly. Bennett used a PRO-ABORTION rationalization. But there you go spinning, lying, and distorting.

PRO-ABORTIONISTS, claim a drop in the crime rate because abortions are legal. PRO-ABORTIONISTS are predominantly, if not completely behind and in line with the DNC.

I've always thought of Tom as a right-leaning moderate, who just tends to get more animated on certain issues. Yeah, he's more right than left, but unlike others, at least he can generally appreciate and respect the opinions of others.

I would pretty much agree. The one aspect I enjoy most in a discussion with Tom when we disagree on the topic is that he won't resort to the detroit-mvscal school of 7th grade insults when it gets contentious, and he can hold his own.

It's just too bad for him that he's wrong most of the time. ;)

apparently...... there are some in the pro abortion camp who use race in just that way.

which is sad.

i thought most pro abortionists thought that if killing babies is inevitable in a society, might as well keep it legal and as safe as possible for the mothers doing the killing. which is what i agree with. abortion is murder, but it will always be with us. like prostitution and person overindulging. a person should be free to choose whether they're going to commit that type of murder or not, and once they do choose to commit that type of murder, to have it done as safely as possible so that no further complications arise of the sort that plagued the pre-abortion world

(though not at the pro-abortionist's propaganda rates they put out.)
