Nice job Jason, you shot it high and wide in the shootout tonight. Pretty easy to tell what you are going to do when you skate like you are tied to an anchor. Memo to Pat Quinn..how about using one of the kids in the shootout, like Steen or someone that might be able to pull a deke on Hasek.
He did Jake... Kyle Wellwood was first up. He tried to deke Hasek and was stopped.
Trying to deke Hasek's not going to work unless you can put it upstairs on him. Personally, I think the best chance is to nail one from just inside the hash marks and take your chances.
And as I've said all along... shootouts to decide a game is lame.

Aren't Lindros & Allison 0-2 in the SO?
Quinn might want to look elsewhere....and not at Wellwood. Quinn should have given to the guys who got them there. Tucker & Antropov.
Quinn will have another melt...I can't wait for the post-game. He is now openly slagging the shoot out in the media. Gee..I can only guess why..
Anyway...Lindros looked like he was steering a beachball down the ice.

Yup. Considering that every media outlet wants to give the cup to the Senators and not even play the season (yeah, haven't heard that one in the last six years.. ), the Leafs taking a point from the 'champs' is pretty good.Otis wrote:
