what happened to Lambada movies?

Post by King Crimson »

man, those were great. i went to see Akira with a HS buddy of mine but once in the multi-plex we realized we could see "Black Orchid": the Mickey Rourke lambada flick that was *supposedly* like rated XXX. so, we snuck in and ditch Jap Anime.

it was awful. no amount of caribbean T&A and contrived sex scenes with Micky the rat scowling around...was going to save it. i remember leaving the theatre feeling depressed and not even remotely "turned-on".

it's a great cinematic concept. remember the hysteria?

"the forbidden dance."

I heard that the sex scenes were NOT contrived, that Mickey was really fucking that bitch!
