CAN YOU DIG IT????

Post by BBMarley »

I picked up the Special Edition of the Warrior's on DVD last week and finally got around to watching it. There are some added things- but nothing major... but the featurette's on the disk were great. Def worth picking up if you are a fan of the movie. If you've never seen it- still pick it up.. its defiitely worth it.

I alwasy liked Ajax...
Cowboy- "I can't run anymore"
Ajax "You sure?"
Cowboy- "Yeah"
Ajax- "Good- I'm getting sick of running from these faggots"

Can't wait to rent the game this week- should kick much ass. Rockstar games meets one of the greatest mindless violence movies of all time!

I just read this somewhere:
Meanwhile, MTV Productions and Paramount Pictures are bringing The Warriors to the new generation. Unlike the original, the movie will be set in modern-day Los Angeles and will not include the original character names or gangs. The Warriors phenomenon was co-opted by hip-hop culture as a classic, with various music videos and tracks making references. One of the most memorable comes from Diddy for Craig Mack's "Flavor in Your Ear" video, when he introduced his label with "Bad Boyyyyyyy, come out and playyyyyyyyy" and later in his video for G-Dep's "Special Delivery remix." Eminem and D12 used Warriors as the concept for their "Fight Music" video -- even going as far as filming it in Coney Island where the original movie was shoot. The MTV movie is currently in production and will be released in 2006.

I stand by that even after finishing the game.

You can unlock rumble modes where I like being the Lizzies and throwing all of the Riffs, including Cyrus, off a building. There is a sick wheelchair race mode and you can create your own gang. Not a long game to finish but the nostalgic mode it puts you in is excellent.
