....now that Krzyzewski is coach of Team USA? Croatia? Lithuania? Angola? Just curious as to how anti-Dukenation reacts to this predicament....

If K is allowed to assemble the team with the guys he wants, gold medal.

They force the same bunch of fundamentally devoid, non jump shooting players on K, another debacle.
"Our staff is going to ensure that anyone who attends this University and wears the Indiana uniform will make this privilege among their highest priorities and not treat the opportunity as an entitlement,'' Crean said in a statement. "We fully expect our student-athletes to accept the responsibilities academically, athletically and socially that come with representing one of the top programs in college basketball history."

If Coach K can get Team USA to play hard and as a team, why shouldn't I root for our team? The next team needs to be constructed like a real team and not just the 12 best players. If they can get Shaq, Garnett, and Kobe to play...that would help. They need a strong starting 5 and 6th man and then fill in the rest with specialists. The talent is there for them to win the gold...they just don't get the same level of commitment like other nations.

I feel so loathed. And dadgummit, it breaks my freaking heart.

I would just take the current DUKE team for the 2008 games. They have guys that are lights out from 3 and they play great team defense. Hell, let them wear DUKE uniforms too.

I knew your ass would be lurking. Not Crown but since he is a buddy of mine, I have grown to watch DUKE quite a bit. Its not hard since almost all their games are on ESPN or CBS.
