After seeing what shit their offense is without him- yes I could. After everything Owens has done this year and in San Fran- I don't see why anyone would want him- but you know someone will pay him.Headhunter wrote:I could see that. When Tice is fired after the season, making a move to bring back in a top reciever. Yeah. I could see that. But after the shit they went through with Moss, do you really think they sign up for another tour of duty?
Wow, how could anybody not want this guy in the lockeroom?Owens also hard harsh things to say about the Eagles for not publicly recognizing his 100th career touchdown catch Oct. 23 at home against the Chargers.
"That right there just shows you the type of class and integrity that they claim not to be," said Owens, who became the sixth receiver in NFL history to reach the milestone. "They claim to be first class and the best organization. It's an embarrassment. It just shows a lack of class they have. My publicist talked to the head PR guy, and they made an excuse they didn't recognize that was coming up. But that was a blatant lie. Had it been somebody else, they probably would have popped fireworks around the stadium."
What, he's unhappy with his contract? Shocking........Owens, who is unhappy with his contract, said he wants to remain in Philadelphia but doesn't think that will happen.
"I just want to be happy," he said. "If it's here, then I would love to be here; if not you got to move on. ... If there's a situation where they have a change of heart and come to their senses and pay me what I'm worth, then I'd be more than happy to be here.
Why Philly wouldn't want to resign this guy is beyond me........."At this time I'm being honest with myself just trying to look toward the future, and I just don't see myself really being here. It's not because I don't want to be here, but I just don't foresee them doing the necessary things to keep me here."
The guy is an embarassment, but as noted somebody will be willing to pay for his services.mvscal wrote:
Did you see that sideline footage of him after he scored in, I think it was the Chiefs game?
He looks into the camera and screams, "I LOVE ME SOME ME".
What a toolbag and he's getting worse.
I saw something like that on HBO's NFL show , where he looked into the camera on the sideline and said " I know ya'all love to hate me " , with some radio analyst's voice overlayed saying how much he hated him .mvscal wrote:Did you see that sideline footage of him after he scored in, I think it was the Chiefs game?Felix wrote:Succinctly, the sum of the paragraphs above say "it's all about ME".

He's been screaming that for about six years now. Funny the first few times I saw it. Now, not so much.mvscal wrote:Did you see that sideline footage of him after he scored in, I think it was the Chiefs game?Felix wrote:Succinctly, the sum of the paragraphs above say "it's all about ME".

Just wait until he lands on your team . Then you will want to pull the plug on that entertainment .Red wrote:He's been screaming that for about six years now. Funny the first few times I saw it. Personally, I don't see what the outrage is. You KNOW what you're getting when you sign TO. He's not a guy who just shows up in his '94 Chevy Caprice, goes to team meetings and you don't hear a peep from him. He's the main attraction and he plays to that fact. Football is entertainment, after all.
He doesn't just "land" somewhere - the Iggles had to sign him.drummer wrote:Just wait until he lands on your team . Then you will want to pull the plug on that entertainment .
Good point . But a lot of teams feel players like TO would change , especially if he is on a team with Championship potential . SF was/is nowhere near that , and winning cures everything . Except TO .Red wrote:He doesn't just "land" somewhere - the Iggles had to sign him.drummer wrote:Just wait until he lands on your team . Then you will want to pull the plug on that entertainment .
If the Iggles or their fans didn't know what they were getting when they signed him, then they're not as smart as people give them credit for. It's not like this is a New and Improved TO®.
Yep. It'll happen eventually. The Oakland Raiders are the proverbial trash can for NFL teams to deposit their garbage.Felix wrote:The guy is an embarassment, but as noted somebody will be willing to pay for his services.mvscal wrote:

I'm actually hoping that it is Oakland, then they'll have two of the top receivers and still not have anybody to throw it to them....
Could you imagine what TO will be like with Kerry Collins ?MgoBlue-LightSpecial wrote:Yep. It'll happen eventually. It's a physical impossibilty--they couldn't shoehorn Owen's and Moss's egos into the same building.......drummer wrote:Could you imagine what TO will be like with Kerry Collins ?MgoBlue-LightSpecial wrote:Yep. TO + Collins = Nuclear Meltdown .
Which happens a lot in Raiderland .
Hell , ego's are already chapped in Oakland . Jerry Porter has been bitter since Moss came to town .Felix wrote:It's a physical impossibilty--they couldn't shoehorn Owen's and Moss's egos into the same building.......drummer wrote:Could you imagine what TO will be like with Kerry Collins ?MgoBlue-LightSpecial wrote: Yep. You know what? Good! Keyshawn his ass... make him sit out the rest of the year then cut him. Give Reggie Brown some more time, run the ball more.. try and get some semblance of a balance to the offense.BSmack wrote:This just in...
ESPN's Ron Jaworski told WFAN Radio in New York that the Philadelphia Eagles are seriously considering suspending WR Terrell Owens for the season because of his recent derogatory comments.
