If the Lions drop Sunday's game with the Cardinals, I'm all about them losing the rest of the games to get Harrington, Garcia, Mooch and Millen out of town and to get Leinart in the draft. For all of the promise this team has, it's been an utter failure. I'd hate to say it but it's time for another house-cleaning.

His cousin is Padrig Harrington. I'd recomend he learn the art of "looping".Joe in PB wrote:Joey give me a call, I've got a few tips on what to do with all the extra time you'll have on your hands in 2006.

Short of that, there's a single girl in Jax who might give him the time of day and a place to crash.

Leinart won't work well with no offensive line in front of him. The guy is a great college QB, but I wouldn't build my team around him unless I had a stud right tackle and above average rest of the line.Shoalzie wrote:If the Lions drop Sunday's game with the Cardinals, I'm all about them losing the rest of the games to get Harrington, Garcia, Mooch and Millen out of town and to get Leinart in the draft. I totally agree about the offensive line. The problem with Harrington has always been his lack of patience with making the right throw. With a bad line in front of him, his decision-making process is pressed to the forefront. Right now, I don't think many LionFans trust his decision-making so when it's rushed, it's even worse. I would like to see this team with a better offensive line but I also think the young receivers don't seem to get it yet either. I think most of this is a leadership and coaching problem. That's all the reason to make a change.
Harrington to start again on Sunday...

With this one in Ford Field, it's going to be ugly if they continue to struggle and lose. When I left Ford Field a few weeks ago after the Panthers game...the crowd chanted loudly, "Joey sucks! Joey sucks! Joey sucks!" I can't imagine how harsh the fans will be on Sunday after each incompletion and interception. Charles Rogers is supposedly having a better week of practice and will likely play. Williams is questionable from what I hear. I don't want to give Harrington any more excuses but how many QBs would succeed with a subpar offensive line and his receivers are Scotty Vines, Glen Martinez and an underachieving Mike Williams? If he fails with all of the weapons at his disposal, he won't have anywhere to hide.

I agree. They need a hard ass coach to get the diva receivers to play harder, and play when they're banged up. Roy Williams is a pussy, Rogers is a pot head and Mike Williams is a tight end. What they really need to draft is a left tackle, try to see if they can get a QB like Matt Shaub, and focus on running the ball. If Mooch isn't fired, bring in a new WR and OL coach.
