Chimpy's base eroding even more
Only 72% of REPUBLICANS approve of his performance?
Chimpy down to 36% in even Fox news polls. Even dittotards are starting to wake up.

900 voters polled. Where did those voters live?
I'm always skeptical of such small polls. Why don't they sample 10,000 people on line or something? At least they'd have slightly more data to work with.
Although I bet it's not all that far off. Lots of crap hitting the DC fan right now.

10,000 people on line would not give a result that is a good as a poll of 900 where the sample is properly designed and controlled, ie a sample that is weighted to represent a cross section of the population's demographics.Mister Bushice wrote:900 voters polled. Where did those voters live?

Why is it you fucking pussy Dems are acting all "Che Guevera-manning-the-Red-Barricades-against-the-White-Army"
when you fucking damn well know it would be business as usual if your guy was in?
Drop the phony street-battling, SDS purporting, Leninist horseshit. You're just as status quo as the current criminal administration, only now, your impotent yelps fall on deaf ears.

You can have the oil, but you'll never get the secret as to how we run our cars and trucks on a mixture of maple syrup and Canadian beer.

46 homicides in all of Toronto?Mister Bushice wrote:http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20051111/lf ... 1111142926
That's the same number we have in Rochester. Except there are 2.5 million people in Toronto and 210,000 people in Rochester. Their murder rate is like 1/10 that of the city accross the lake and they're flipping out?
That says something. I think I'll go shoot something and figure out what that something is.

Let me know next time you losers actually win a poll that matters.
And the fact that with the isolationist lunatic fringe, the 'troops on the mexican border' crowd, the idiots who melted down over the Meirs nommination, the 'savage' nation the 'we can't 'afford' tax cuts' economic ignoramuses, neo-mercantilist NAFTA haters, and every other fringe whacko constituancy in the GOP there is a strong minority disaproval of Bush within his own party only shows that he is in fact, governing from the center.
Of course, to a bunch of freaks who think anyone not in line with the Das Kapital toting counter-cultural left is a 'rightwing neocon' that might be confusing.
Don't worry, you'll be even more confused come next November.

I don't much care. We wouldn't be any better off with a democrat in the white house, just a different type of crap.
All politicians are scum. It's just nice to see them suffer.

While you're on the topic of fringe groups that make up the GOP, you forgot the creationist Bible-bangers and the supply-side cranks. But wait, aren't those two latter groups W's core constituency?Diogenes wrote:And the fact that with the isolationist lunatic fringe, the 'troops on the mexican border' crowd, the idiots who melted down over the Meirs nommination, the 'savage' nation the 'we can't 'afford' tax cuts' economic ignoramuses, neo-mercantilist NAFTA haters, and every other fringe whacko constituancy in the GOP there is a strong minority disaproval of Bush within his own party only shows that he is in fact, governing from the center.

And neither of the groups mentioned are 'fringe', either in the GOP or America at large.
And there is no reason for them to oppose Bush's centrist policies.

You gotta love this story. Fox News placed a poll on their website about a comment skit on Al Franken's radio station where he played a recording of Bush and then put in a shotgun blast. They asked their readers to respond with three answers.Mister Bushice wrote:900 voters polled. Where did those voters live?

1: He should be pulled from the air.
2: It's free speech, he can do what he want.
3: I don't care what he did, it doesn't affect me.
(not the direct poll, but you get the idea of the answers)
Al Franken found out about the poll and had his listeners go spam the shit out of it. They did and (I saw it) the poll was 99% for free speech, so Fox yanked the entire story.
THAT is why the internet is not reliable. You have the ability to spam a poll, then you have the ability for the poll taker to yank it if it is negative for their cause.
I fucking suck.
