Babs - below is the MUTE button.

Image

Instructions for MUTE button:

1. Insert MUTE button device in mouth
2. Point device towards infrared brain receiver (yeah, it's a small target, but you just need to get close to make it work)
3. Pull trigger
4. Enjoy the silence

The fucking pansie assed style of Dook basketball makes me ill.

The fucking running of the entire show, including refs by K, makes me vomit.

Thier group is the same god damn group of underachievers they had last year. And what happened?!

Fuggin McRoberts is a dud. Williams looks sickly ill, and Davis will OWN him again. JJ fucked up, and shoulda went pro. Dockery? - You kiddin me?!

Nice schedule too. My God, K; PLAY at least TWO teams who MIGHT scare the top 25! in preseason!

Christ, I haven't even looked at their ACC sched., to see how weighted the tail end of it is, so they can race to the 25 win mark, before the losses late won't effect their seeding. Typical K scheduling.

Fuck you, Dook fan! I hope you're in our Regional again, fags.

Duke and Oklahoma don't play this year OOC.

Oklahoma was last year, Texas is this year.

Duke's major conference opponents: Seton Hall (H), likely either Alabama or Memphis (N), Indiana (A), Texas (N), St. John's (H), Georgetown (A), Temple (A). Plus 6 cupcakes.

MSU major conference opponents: Gonzaga or Maryland (N), Arkansas/UConn/Kansas/Arizona (N), Georgia Tech (H), Boston College (H). Plus 10 cupcakes.

Just the facts. Not that they've ever stood in the way of Babs having a hissy fit.

BU looked hungry early on and played a strong defensive game in spite of getting twice as many fouls. The Devils definitely didn't look like a #1 but it'll take a few games for the freshman to get comfortable for Coach K to figure out his rotation. He's a deeper team this year and I hope they don't live and die by what Williams and Redick do. 3-for-16 from the perimeter is unacceptable eventhough BU is one of the better defensive clubs in the nation. They will miss Ewing's ability to drive the ball to the goal...curious to see who will become the new slasher on the team, perhaps Nelson.

What an original take...archive this so all can be enlightened by your brilliance.

Same tired smack against Duke every year...
"Coach K gets all the calls."
"They don't schedule anyone."

Is there an original thought out of the anti-Duke crowd? I haven't seen one. Dislike them because they aren't your team but to villify them like they've single-handedly ruined college basketball is a joke. Worry about your own school and we'll see how things shake out in April.

Duke needs to feast on the regular season OOC patsies like they had last year. Like MSU, for example.

Wisc. Green bay and Wichita State are not "cupcakes, you tool.

Izzo said that by Dec. 6, MSU "could" possibly have played 5 top 15 teams! The Maui field is being billed as the toughest ever!

My bad, you're correct. For some reason I thought we had a return game this year.
Duke doesn't play decent to good teams OOC conference on the road. The refs don't give them the same calls so coach K avoids anything outside of Cameron or MSG.

Honestly MO I am a Duke fan. I lived a very good portion of my life in North Carolina and hate UNC with a passion that burns like the fires in Hades. If Oklahoma doesn't win it all I pull for Duke. Just have to be honest though.

Not that a coach needs to try what Izzo did two years ago. (Seven freegin OOC games vs. teams in the top 10 alltime programs, or some ungodly act like that -- insanity.) but, damn, K; at LEAST try a FEW games as TRUE roadies! Even if it's against medium teams.

Was the same Seton Hall program that made the tournament a few years ago that "played" Duke last night? Wow! Duke isn't 53 points better than any team from a major conference...that had to be just a bad night for the Pirates. I didn't watch much of the game...watching hockey most of the night. My jaw hit the floor when I flipped over and saw Seton Hall had only 20 points in the early part of the second half and Duke was up by 40+. While BU can play defense and held Duke to 40% from the field...the Pirates didn't give the Devils any problems, 63.6% from the floor. They've got a pretty young team but no one should be getting thumped like that.

Duke is deep as fuck. Seton Hall just looks like a badly coached team. Didnt help that they missed 22 shots in a row in the First half while Duke shot 60%. The 5 freshman they recruited are gonna be special if they stick around for a couple of years.

They are just all around ignorant, arrogant, assholes. I have met one my entire life who I could stomach or not feel the urge to force my fist down their throat and it was a guy who was from NC but had lived in Oklahoma for 20 years and lived in the same apartment complex as I. I could go on a 4 page tirade about UNC fan but I don't feel like having the melt today I'm in too good of a mood.

Awwww fuck it... a small melt won't be too damn bad...

People talk about Oklahoma fans never attended OU well hell I have never met a UNC fan who has gone to a single class in Chappel Hill, never not once.

Speaking of OOC schedules, I was a little disappointed with ours this year. Our biggest games OOC are at Alabama (Dec. 7) and home against NC State (Nov. 26) and Michigan (Dec. 3). Our traditional OOC rivals -- Kentucky, Indiana and UCLA -- are nowhere to be found Of course, our conference schedule is brutal. We drew home-and-homes against DePaul (expected), Marquette (expected) and Providence (surprise). From our conference, we won't be playing Cincinnati (surprise) and St. John's (surprise).

Funny, Izzo never does that. Wait.....how about that tirade at the end of the game vs. Gonzaga, jumping up and down, screaming, and damn near foaming at the mouth for an obvious non-foul? Hey, I don't blame Izzo. That's part of coaching. K doesn't have a monopoly on it.

Since when does 7, possibly 8, legit players = deep. Granted their top 7 are pretty fookin nice, but depth is about the lone weakness they have.

Sorry I think Duke has looked the best. It's probably my Crimson colored glasses I see the rest through but there is a group of about ten teams that are all good picks at #2... luckily my team is one of them.

Michael Neal is a major upgrade of McKenzie. Hope he enjoys the blizzards in Minnesota cause I won't be missing him much.

Walker also appears to be 3 times the court leader that Drew "I'll play when I play" Lavender ever was or will be.

Again, another hideous display of Blue Devil Envy in the finals of the preseason nit "classic".

Dook finally plays a team who MIGHT sniff the top 20 by march, but it's on a Neutral floor, of course; like 200 mi. from their campus -- 600 from the Tigers' campus; and they get TWO gifts from the Zebra's in the last minute of a one point game!

First, the ball was thrown off a Memphis player, only replays showed that player was STILL inbounds when the ball hits him. The ball then hits WILLIAMS' foot - yep, you guessed it. HIS other foot, was the one out of bounds. That's OFF DOOK!, ref!! Not the Memphis player! AND, the guy called it before the ball ever technically went out of bounds!

Second. - The 8 second inbounds pass that Dook was allowed after that!! I coulda ordered PIZZA on that inbounds attempt, it took so long!

Look -- I KNOW it's Dook, ok? I KNOW we need these teams on top all season. (I guess) And I also know the Memphis coaches run about 3 plays on the floor. They suck beyond comprehension. But this Dook ballsucking extravagansa has got to stop, man. These refs just LOCK up, when there's a game on the line, and Dook needs a call to stay ahead, or whatever. It's just getting nausiating.
I rarely, if ever; see any other squad get this treatment.

Memphis still could have won the game, but I have become so expectant that Dook will get calls in games that I no longer get upset about it. Not talking about home games either, everyone gets those calls most of the time.

On Friday they pnly played 7, and I dont know why. Boateng and Boykin didnt play and Nelson is out w/ a fractured ankle. To me that adds up to 10. The previous 4 games 10-11 guys played decent minutes.

It's a conspiracy, I tells ya! The refs all get together, along with the NCAA, to make sure Duke gets all the calls, especially down the stretch. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz............................
