'05-'06 Tarheels: Better or worse than the 8-20 team?

Post by Rack Fu »

They barely beat what amounted to a high school team last night. Going to be a long, painful season for Tarheel nation. Once again, they deserve every bit of it. Biggest bunch of jackoff college hoops fans in the country. Yes... worse than Duke fan.

I think they beat the lightweights on their schedule and eek out a near .500 record. No postseason. This team may actually be worse than the 2001-02 team but Williams is a better coach than Doherty.

Enjoy the misery.

better than 8-20. outside the addition of BC, doesn't look like an all-time vintage ACC conference this year.

Roy will steal some on the 10-15 gimmee points a game on back door cuts alone. hansborough is a stud.

Couldn't occur to a better fan base... well it does but KState, Colorado, and LSU are all used to losing in basketball.

Graduations and early departures from key players coming at the same time is a bitch but every school has to deal with it. Green and Hansbrough are talented freshmen and Noel is the only notable player remaining from last year. They'll be a .500 team most likely...Roy needs to re-stock the talent pool.
