Has Anyone Checked Out the Sagarin Ratings for the NHL

Not that it matters, but this is seriously fucked up.
"As democracy is perfected, the office of president represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron."

At first it looks fucked up. However, if you arrange the teams by their ratings, they may be on to something. Toronto is a surprise, Ottawa is heads and shoulders above everybody else, and Carolina has beaten enough teams in the top ten of that ranking to desrve being taken seriously.

Only 75% of the season to go.

Edmonton's ahead of Calgary, so it looks good to me.

Kings are ranked #15 (should be top 10)? Pens at #17 (wassup bottom 5)? Preds at #21(top 10 as well)?

Nice EAST COAST BIAS there, no teams from the Western Conference are in the top 10 (Boston at #10 is laughable, so are the Isles at #8 and Bolts at #9)

I've never believed in any computer rankings of sports teams, garbage in, garbage out.

Sagarin doesn't know dick about college football, wouldn't expect his hockey rankings to be any different.

Sorry, but until someone can show me otherwise, these are the only rankings that matter.

The Wings take a huge hit in those rankings for being in the Central Division. At least they have Ottawa at #1.
