The contract GM has with the UAW entitles all those workers General Motors just "laid-off" yesterday to full pay & bennies until they: A) find another job, B) transfer to another GM plant, or C) retire.
Fucking-A- the Socialist Euros only have to pay their laid off workers their full pay & bennies for a year.

I guess that would explain why Detroit has been slower than most to take advantage of the giant sucking sound down in Mexico. Rack the UAW for protecting their own.

I financially boycott the local NPR æffilliate because they dropped Music From the Hearts of Space in favour of the BBC.
