Favre going to announce retirement Wednesday!

Knowing his team is out of the playoffs an the Mike Sherman era is officially over. Brett Favre is going to announce on Wednesday that this is his last season and will retire. Why is he going too do this? It's the only way that this team play for something this year and protect him from the Bears defense. :wink:
