Gibbs senile or blind?

Post by T REX »

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/co ... 01642.html

"Gibbs said he believes that an offside penalty against the Redskins that negated a blocked extra point and caused the ball to be moved from the 2-yard line to the 1 and preceded Tampa Bay Coach Jon Gruden's decision to go for the two-point conversion also was incorrect."

You can complain about the 2 point conversion. That was inconclusive. But the offsides was OBVIOUS!!!!!! Dude was CLEARLY across before the ball was snapped. He was in the backfield. Hell, he didn't even have to jump. He just threw his arm out. Sorry, but he's not that fast.

However, he watched it SOO MANY times that....

"Gibbs said he is unsure if cornerback Shawn Springs or cornerback Walt Harris got his hand on the ball, but maintains that no players were across the line before the ball was snapped."

He can't tell who blocked it but he can tell if they were offsides or not?????

Implosion. I will say that Redskin fan has been gracious on here. What up with your coach? Dude is melting.

You got it all wrong TRex. See he has you fooled like the majority of the NFL. He is just messing with you, trying to get you to believe he is losing it and doesn't have the ability to coach the typical modern day player. In fact, what he is doing, is setting up one of the most dominant runs in NFL History, and march his way back to the promised land that Snyder has coveted. Stand in line, and watch this amazing run to the championship.

Why is this posted in thsi forum, isn't this the AFC West Forum?

Maybe you can relate this to the Raiders, Chiefs, Broncos or Chargers in some way.

P.S.- Coach Gibbs was RIGHT about Alstott NOT getting in for the 2-pointer as well.

Hmmm....apparently you just can't fucking read(again no surprise there, you don't need to know how to read to eat-I am sure mommy orders for you at the restaurant). THIS THREAD is about the OFFSIDES penalty. I even said the 2 point conversion is arguable because no one can see the ball. Therefore your take has NOTHING to do with what I posted you non-reading comprehension blob. Your sorry fat fuck ass can't read. But you had to make a little bitch comment like you always do. You will get the LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT CRYIN RYAN AWARD.....and you deserve it.

for what its worth, apparently jaworski (no skins apologist, in case anyone wondered) was on the dan patrick show today and said the refs blew both the offsides call and the alstott call (though i maintain that i understand why they didnt overturn the 2 pointer given what they were looking at and the time allowed).

it seems the bucs center lifted the ball off the ground a split second before snapping it. when he does this, springs and harris were free to rush.

john clayton said the same thing.

bummer.

Also, Gibbs was an assistant to Don Coryell in San Diego before becoming the 'Skins coach.
