I just thought I'd give you a heads up. This team is good, and they're getting quite pumped about 'Nova.
Also, Nate Carter still isnt' at 100% although he's been playing decent. It's the same injury he had earlier in his career too. (The arch of his left foot...) He's getting treatment for it twice a day though. He's expecting to be ready by 'Nova. If he's 100% by the end of the week, the 'Nova game could be a coming-out (not like Babs, but the good way) party for him like the UConn game was for Taj last year.
Thoughts?

Yeah Nova is going to bend us over the table.
The team is good but Nova will still ride through us.

OU-Nova has the ear marks of the poor perimeter shooting/gritty road loss IMO.
If Neal is the only guy who can spread a D (and he's not played on the road against top 25 or even major conference competition). people are gonna sag on Gray all day and twice on Sundays until either Everett penetration or the outside shot or Bookout can keep people honest. Book needs make FT's.
i like this team a lot, but my heart says Sooners my head says 6-8 point loss that really isn't as close as the score. we good enough D to keep in it....but Nova pulls the home W.

With real bigs? Are you fukkin' kidding me? Have you seen our line up? Leave it to Babs to make an utter fool of themself tis early in the season.MSUFAN wrote:First - It's nice to see I'm creeping slowly but surely all up in Skulls dome. The guy mentions me in every other post.
Second - "Da Toof" will get his ass shown to him, if he ever plays a squad with real bigs.

i thought this was interesting from Insider: Kelvin goes some 3-2 for Nova? I also heard Houck say this. i tend to agree with CoolM's post; but, could be interesting change up.

I wouldn't blame Kelvin one bit for trying some 3-2 for Nova. They're not going to be able to score in the paint with what they've got right now, and they're starting a couple of streaky shooters, to say the least. Frankly, I think that it'd be the perfect team to gauge how our zone is looking early. If they're on, they'd show us what we need to work on before the games start to matter. If they're off, I'll credit the defense. :D
