We do.

Tough game to call. Both teams can run the ball and both have had success stopping the run. Denver's Achilles Heel has been third down conversions, but despite that we've done a good job controlling the clock due in large part to a +14 turnover differential.

Week after week we've heard that "This is the week Jake remembers he's Jake..." Keep squawking that and then sit there dumbfounded when he's in the running for league MVP.

Win the turnover battle and win the game...

Denver by a FG.

Still on meds, eh, Red? Thanks for proving once again that MuleFan truly is dumber than a bag of hammers.

Lemme see if I’ve got this straight: Denver sucks at third down… But the Snake carts home League honors for most valuable play.

More stellar post-graduate work from the Cuda School of Having It Both Ways (Colorado campus).

Never mind that the Snake isn’t even the best player in the Division (s’up LT). Re-read your own post… At +14, it sounds to me like your D might be a bit more deserving of post-season recognition.

BTW, Sparky, did it occur to you that “Jake isn’t Jake” this season cuz Banana-hand has reined him in? “Take care of the ball, and don’t do anything to get us beat.” Or maybe you’d care to list all those stunning, come-from-behind-late-fourth-quarter victories that the Snake has singe-handedly orchestrated this season.

League MVP… Christ-on-a-freaking-pony. Dumbfounded indeed.

Let me get this straight... a guy that has a 14:4 TD to INT ratio and has led his team to a 9-2 record, first place in the division (and a two-game lead over the chefs) shouldn't be considered for Most Valuable Player, but Denver's defense should? Or is there some other "post-season recognition" that you were speaking of?

You are right about one thing though. LT is hands-down the best player in the league. Unfortunately for him, MVP candidates usually come from playoff-bound teams.

Correct.

Image

“You win a cookie…”

I’d forgotten how much stock you Losers place in stats.

Through 11 Games:

Carson Palmer: 252 of 361, 2922 yards. 23 TDs, 7 INTs. 107.1 QB rating.
Peyton Manning: 232 of 341, 2770 yards. 22 TDs, 8 INTs. 104.5 QB rating.
Jake Plummer: 193 of 314, 2236 yards. 14 TD, 4 INTs. 92.5 QB rating.

Well, now, gee! Lookee here! Peyton’s and Carson’s teams both have great records and lead their Divisions too!

Oh... And go ahead and consider yourself straightened.

BTW, Red, Steve DeBerg lead his Chiefs to the playoffs back in ’90 sporting a gaudy 23:4 TD to INT ratio. I don’t seem to recall the League crowning him MVP for his effort that year either…

Streaks are meant to be broken right? Chief-fan, this year will be different. Broncos are on fire right now, we've got one of the best D's ever, Plummer has thrown minimal picks all season and of course our runningbacks are lighting it up too.

Broncos do have trouble at Arrowhead, I will admit. I will also admit that the Broncos are just 2-8 in that rathole since Shanahan took over.

But expect this year for the Broncos to absolutely waste them in their own crib.

Broncos 27
Chiefs 10

When you finish your coloring, show me where I, or anyone else annointed Plummer the MVP. If you need a head start in your research, I can point you to a link in this very site where several non-Bronco fans threw his name out as a likely candidate.

When you're done looking for that, maybe you can explain why you think Denver's defense is more deserving of the MVP award.

Stat of the week:

What NFL team currently has the longest streak of games of not allowing an enemy runner to top 100 yds rushing...?

Kansas City, 18 straight games.

I know, I know......Dungver gets it done with running back-by-committee.

The Mules are due for a loss, and KC at home in December looks like a good place for it.

Broncos website doesn't break it down as to which runner had how many yards, but the Chefs allowed the Broncos to rush for 221 yards when they played earlier this year and that's something less than 18 games ago.

Both teams are due for a loss, but considering the Chefs home record in December and their stat of not allowing 100+ yard games, for however many games it is, the law of averages tends to favor Denver, imo.

And ignorance of the law is no excuse.

That sure is one handsome fella' there, but no, wasn't me who posted it. And why should I hate it? Doesn't bother me a bit. Reminds of some good times, good BBQ, and good brew right outside Arrowhead with some good ol' boys. You should be so lucky someday.

Well la dee fucking da.

A 4 page Doink a thon and it's only W3dnesday.

I just escaped Colorweedho yesterday.

More Chiefs gear on peaks 8, 9 & 10 in Breck than Doink fans (And the ones that were there wore funny hats)

Image

That Fucking state is so poor they closed I-70 East to keep the well to do Missourians hostage another day.

I digress......

Big surprise (No it wasn't) that many Coloradopes don't really give a fuck about the Doinks. They all seemed far more concerned with smoking dope in the warming huts or trying or bitching about how cold it was on the mountain during the snowstorm (it's a fucking snowstorm for chrissakes)

As for the game:

It's been broken down pretty well. Both teams are running the ball pretty well and defense the run pretty well. So that's a wash.

Fake and trINT can both win a game or blow it, so more laundry there.

That leaves special teams, where, If I'm not mistaken, Dante' Hall seems to be that special sumptin that leaves you dickskinners cryin' every year.

Last year's Pinky augratin (That's German for thanks for the $20, Spud) was a 6 page rant if I remember had sumptin to do with illegal blocks (Lordy, Lord the irony).

Image

But much like the tuck, it fell on deaf ears and Good triumphed.

All you dungver fans suck big fat donkey dicks, at least for this week, as you sit on your orange naugahide couches from Elway's furniture and feed, freezing inside your miserable duplexes in Saudi Aurora watching My Chiefs win 24-21 on your 19" emerson TVs from Wally world.
