We are going to  the world?

Found this on BuffBackers. Thought you guys might enjoy a laugh.
Omaha_Buff wrote:I found these on another website and thought it was interesting.  Tell me what you think!

1. Mack Brown has never won a Conference Title, that streak will end should Texas beat Colorado.

2. The last two times Texas was one game away from playing for the national title -- the one game was a loss to Colorado both cases (1990, 2001)

3. The last two trips to the Big XII Championship game featured Texas losing to teams they had beaten earlier in the year. (Nebraska 1999, Colorado 2001)

4. In 2001, Texas beat #14 Colorado 41-7 in Austin...only to lose to them in the Big XII Title Game. In 2005 Texas beat #24 Colorado 42-17 in Austin....

5. #1 & #2 in the BCS have never gone wire to wire....there have always been major upsets...frequently in the conference championship games.

6. The North team has won every Championship Game in the south (?)

7. Vince on the cover of Sports Illustrated

8. The North has always won the odd numbered years.

9.  Buffs are 5-0 when wearing the traditional black jerseys and gold pants this year.

10. We are due (?)

The one thing that trumps all those things is that Vince Young is QB not Chris Simms

The only one I'd even put an ounce of credence in is the SI cover jinx. There is ample evidence of that. The other ones are shaky at best. The North winning on odd numbered years is kind of weird, but I'd consider it more of a fluke than a trend.

There has been talk that CU might go with Bernard Jackson at QB for a few series after seeing what the mobile A&M QB did to the Texas D. Personally, I wanted him to start this season. It'd be great to see him at least get some snaps. The CU coaches pretty much have to think outside the box at this point.

SC clearly has some bandwagoner ahole fans...but the Texas myopia we're seeing here is without peer.

If the Buffs stumble upon a miracle before Christmas here...well...the upside is simple: with three weeks of college football left we'd get exactly three additional weeks of post-loss meltage coverage.

Does anyone want to see them lose on January 4th and have the story gone by January 6th?

sup PrimeX we're still cool and shit right?

You must have some kind of SC tard filter on your computer cause Texas has nothing on the region known as Southern California.

Per usual the Vito post above only makese sense if several assumptions are made by the reader.

Believe the Heupel wrote:#6 is wrong. OU beat Colorado in San Antonio a couple of years back.
Yeah, someone pointed that out on the BuffBackers thread too. That must be why there's a question mark after it.

BTW, Jimmy, if CU and UCLA both pull the upset, where are we gonna tailgate?

Yes, but you are riding his jock the same way you did Chris Simms.

Vince put on the ball on the ground a couple times against OU early in the game...

Selective memory.

I was always a Major fan over Simms, the only thing I didn't like was that Simms was always taking the blame for the teams shortcomings against OU. For the most part I always thought Major got the shaft in 2k1 and the B12 championship and bowl game proved it.

The only years I really rode his jock was his soph year when he started to improve (major was still recooperating from his knee injury) and his senior year when he really did impove and Major was gone.

I am riding Vince's Jock because like Major he gets results on the field and he is the baddest MF I have ever seen play QB at Texas. The guy has had two losses in his career and both were to OU. I think he deserves the praise he gets.

I would hope they'd let him play the whole fucking game. Joel Klatt has never impressed me- not favorably anyway. Worst Buff QB since Bill Soloman- and probably worse.

The funny thing is, after CU beat Mizzou, GB called Klatt the best QB ever at CU. :meds: How fucking retarded is that? I mean, I know the guy holds almost every CU passing record, but when you actually watch him play, it's like "ehh." I wouldn't even put him in the top 5. Kordell was a legitimate Heisman candidate, Hagan led us to an NC, and Detmer was a better passer. Hessler was probably better than Klatt, but he didn't start long enough to put up the numbers. Shit, I'd take Moschetti or Pesavento over Klatt. I don't even think he's the best QB on the team right now, let alone in the history of CU.
