I never listen to the guy, but today I picked up a rental car and the prior owner had left the radio on his network.

He was talking about how Bush lied about the justification of the war, and that Saddams trial is illegal. He also played some sound clips of Ramsey saying that Bush is in violation of the UN Charter for invading a sovereign nation.

Did I miss something? Wasn't this guy a shill for the republican party a few years ago?

I seriously never listen to the windbag, but he certainly appears to have changed his sails.

I don't know. He was audio quoting himself from back in early November when he said if he was saddam he would demand that he be reinstated as president and that since this court was biased and unjust the trial should be stopped.

It was all geared at Bush Bashing, at least those are the words coming out of his mouth.

Pretty damn serious tongue in cheek. I only listened for the 8 minutes I was in the car, but he sounded convincing to me. He was making a case for Bushs unjust war.

The point was that all Saddam's lawyers have to do is take the same road as the Left and it would make Saddams defense! i.e. The war is illegal, Bush lied about WMD

Last, but more inportantly, he refused to sign the Gatt treaty and his Habitat for Humanity programme - where he gave money to relatives of Palistinian bombers who had their homes viciously and barbarically demolished by Isreal for no crime other than existing as a relative.
I think his domestic policy is consistant with something any Social Democrat might spout off about, barring his relationship with US imperialism. It's the old saying, 'Liberal at home, Tory abroad'.

"sedition", you should have no problem getting a jury to aquit you, then you can go on to a career as the Republican Party's poster boy for "gett'n 'er done". It should be quite lucrative, actually.
