RIP Richard Pryor

Post by King Crimson »

i only knew him really from the fairly mediocre films with Gene Wilder and John Candy later. though, i did see Negroe League barnstorming homage Bingo Long's Travelling All-stars and Motor Kings. i loved that, but i didn't realize there was anything to it more than, say, Gabe Kaplan in Fastbreak. good sports movie.

being a kid and just plunking down a couple bucks at the summer matinee so mom can get you out of the house for a couple hours.

i guess it's time to check the Live at the Sunset Strip, RP.

RIP RP. I have enjoyed many a belly laugh listening to his comedy.
