Sure did. Instead of us going in for a score right before halftime, they wind up scoring a TD instead and taking a 3-point lead. Hell, we even called a timeout to save them more time to get it done. Shitty game and clock management bit them in the ass again just like last year.

Thing is, I have no idea why they'd be passing in that situation to begin with. Just give the damn ball to LJ and let him sweep around the left side behind Roaf just like the 1st time.

Well then, he CLEARLY didn't hold him well enough, 'cause he had a catch before Wesley stripped him of the ball

It all goes back to defense.....and you have none. That opportunistic crap is a joke. It was Bledsoe for god's sakes.

You can MUG but not impede the receiver ie holding on or pulling of the jersey. The flag seemed late to me, but after looking at the review it was a good call. Ref probably waited to see if he would catch it or not.

First, props to the Boyz for a well played game.
They didn't make stupid mistakes, or beat themselves.

Props to DF for calling this gem......
On the defensive side of the ball, the Boys will have to get to Trint Green early. Knock him down a few times and he becomes Drew Bledsoe. Stopping Grandmama will be easy Scott and you know why? Scott Fujita.
That fumble changed the entire game - at least a 10 pt. swing. When you have a team down, you have to put them away (see Eagles v. Chiefs). I'll be glad when Vermeil goes, and hope Saunders goes with him. For him to have Green passing there was stupid beyond belief. We had dominated the line of scrimage to that point.

Also, the defense has only improved a little, when it needed to improve a lot. When you have to constantly blitz a statue, you know your not very good.

I'm glad I detached from the pipe dream of a Chief playoff contender after the Bills debacle. This team will be torn apart in the offseason and rightly so.

Lay the sig and Av on me - either here on in PM

Way to go belly up with all four paws in the air.

It ain't over until it's over and I'm not conceding a damn thing just yet.

The Blots loss leaves the door open just a bit.

Big win for Dallas. Still can't figure out some of Vermeil's play calling. Like with minimal time left in the 1st half and he tries a screen deep in his territory? Thanks..umm..Dick.

Nice to win with the other team missing a key FG for a change.

Yep... that's a minimum 10 point swing in momentum there, and the defining play that killed the Chiefs. Terrible decision to leave LJ in as the only blitz pickup guy when you're selling out on a pass play. Granted, LJ still can't pick up the blitz... but that piece of info certainly is not a news flash, and even Marcus Allen would pin the blame on the coaching staff, which has long since been aware of the danger of leaving LJ in as a blocker.

No bitching from the rest of the KC fans about that holding call, either... John Lynch out front should have told you.

Chiefs def is still transforming from shit, to legit. It takes time, and does not happen in one off-season. They showed improvement in most of the 8 wins and they also had a decent showing in Buff, but coaching and play calling fucked that game all to hell. Just as was the case today.

I blame most of this loss on coaching and play calling from both sides. The Chiefs made some very questionable decisions, combined with the Boys doing their home work, and finding a formula that would beat the Chiefs. However .......

We all seem to overlook a very important factor that comes into play during MOST games. Time.

The clock has rewarded, cursed, won and lost more games, for more teams than any MVP, HOFer, player, coach, or ref and in most games, it will always be that way.

Sure, you will have your blowouts, but more often than not, it comes down to who will score last, while taking away enough time to prevent the other team from scoring again. This was the case today, as it has been in most of the Chiefs losses under Vermiel. Very often, you score to fast, leave to much time on the clock, without realizing the other team wants to win just as bad as you do.

This was a classic example today. Kennison made a great catch and run, scored, and left way to much time on the clock. I said it as soon as it happened. "FUCK! We are screwed. There is to much time left." Anyone that knows anything about football knew Dallas would march down the field and score. Tbag and his Chiefs hating ass fails to point out the Chiefs def was just good enough to waste that precious thing called "Time." They fight their asses off just enough, to prevent the offense from having a real chance to go down the field, score, and not have to rely on a kicker taking a game to OT.

The ole cliche of "a win is a win" will be used here. I think the Boys played decent on the offensive side of the ball, but then again who doesn't against the Queefs. However Dallas looked like shit on the defensive side of the ball. They are going to have to step up big time if they ever want to make some noise. I'll be honest, and say the holding call was a bit questionable, especially since the ref took his sweet time in making the call, but homefield has its perk eh? Anyways rack the Boys for getting a much needed win to keep their playoff hopes alive. I think this loss may have all but sealed the Queefs chances of seeing the postseason.

Without further ado, I bring to you the signature for Queef fan. I am sorry I won't be around most of the week (wed-sun) as I am moving into my million dollar mansion. :D

"Queef fan's myopia knows no boundaries. While we may talk a big game out of our industrial sized cockholsters, our team lays down like the two dollar whores they are. We will now shut up for the rest of the year and watch the Giants, Chargers and Bengals service our pink balloon knots."

Completely disagree.....your D-Unit should be gelling not getting torched for 450+ yards. Your defense is awful, again.

If that is true then LJ is a pussy. If you are 6'1 230 and you are afraid to block then you cannot be mentioned as a Top 5 back in the NFL. A RB has to be able to do more than just run the football. That is my biggest problem w/ Shaun Alexander. He is nails w/ the ball but disappears when he doesnt have it.

Fine, LJ is a pussy, but the fact remains that the coaches (see: Dicky Weep) were 100% aware of LJ's shortcoming in this department, and should have made the substitution if they weren't trying to fake a run in play action. That was an obvious pass play from the moment they lined up. The way Kansas City was ramming the ball down Dallas' throat on the ground, that was easily the difference between a 27-24 Dallas win and a 38-20 Kansas City win.

Honestly, I think it was a good call. The guy nearly tackled the receiver...and the ref didnt as much take his time as he did throw the flag a mile in the air..

You may be right Neck. I remember jumping off the couch, yelling shit, doing a spin as I was about to melt down in epic fashion. After that mini-melt, I looked back at the screen to see the flag indication to come on the screen. So to me, it seemed like eternity, but I'll take your word on it.

:D

I was one TIVO'ing mother scratcher yesterday, and believe me, it was a good call. I got several looks at it in slow-mo, and witten had his shoulders turned around by the defender. Refs will call that all day long.

There were some shaky calls in that game, but that wasn't one of them.

It was a good call by the ref. However, they missed a few against the Cowboys on that final go ahead drive.

1. Keyshawn Johnson pushing off against Kendrell Bell. It was 3rd & 6 and that play got the Cowboys a first down.

2. Shortly after the above play Eric Hicks was tackled by a Cowboy offensive linemen and no call was made.

That's just how shit goes sometimes though. The Chiefs still should have won the game. They just didn't take advantage of the opportunities they were given. Pat Surtain missing the easy INT being the biggest missed opportunity in my opinion. This was definitely a shoulda, woulda, coulda game for the Chiefs.

Lots of holding happening on both sides of the ball. Dallas got nailed a few times hard with calls, but they overcame them, and at the end of the day, that's why the scoreboard reads the way it does.

We could go back and forth about missed or blown calls, but it was a hard fought battle that ultimately was decided by the players.

Bottom line Paul you did not entertain the true sig when the "RuPaul Walker Lindh" name was created. So I would take it you lost some sleep over it. if you didn't give a shit then you would have worn it no questions asked. But you didn't, and that will always stick with you.

Now how am I a sore loser? I simply pointed it out that it sucks to have to wear a sig and AV like you're sporting now and it also sucks knowing your team isn't going to the playoffs. There's nothing sore about that, its just being real.

Deal with it.

The sig sucks because the sig sucks and losing to an easily beatable, mediocre cowgirls team really sucks.

As for "knowing my team isn't going to the playoffs", I know no such thing.

Sometimes it doesn't matter who the better team is, because the better team doesn't always win. See yesterday.

KC will blow SD right out of Arrowhead on Christmas eve and your gonna' wake up Christmas morn' with being out of the playoffs in your stocking.

So are you joining the elites of RuPaul Walker Lindh, Jeff2K5, and CM as sig welching faggots? Inquiring minds want to know. And if you lost to a mediocre cowgirl team, imagine the ass plungering you're going to receive in the Meadowlands and at home to the Chargers. I'll be optimistic and say you beat the Bengals, but at 9-7, you miss the dance Wags.
