I predict that the Pats will beat the Colts in the AFC title
I can just sense it happening.
Here's how it plays out. New England wins the wild card game at home, then goes on the road to beat Cincinnati, to advance to the title game where Indianapolis is waiting. Colts will get through the first game and it will set up the game of the ages- the AFC Championship game.
The night before the game, Manning shits his pants thinking about how Belichick owns him.
New England gets over AGAIN. The road is not paved with gold for the Colts. They will blow it.

Well,
I started to go looking for a URL for the Video for Aerosmith's "Dream On", but I don't feel like taking the time. So, I guess it's the thought that counts....
S.U.Y.T. -- Me thinks you should lay off the Columbian BBQ....
Or else joint certain KC or Raider fans, in their Myopian domain.....
( No disrespect to Scott)

Tampa sports radio callers and hosts were pretty prophetic. Are you sure you weren't listenting to the idiots here giving their NFL "takes" in between OU recruiting bullshit? :wink:chowd103 wrote:Tampa sports radio has the Bucs kicking the shit outta the Pats.

You gotta hear these arrogant ass stains.
28-17, -->
28 to 0 (zip, nada, nilch...!!
as far as the PATRIOTS vs. THE CLOTS..
this is the EPIC battle that all of NEW ENGLAND is CLAMoring for...
I don't DISrespect Manning and the Clots but I would very much enjoy having the CLOTS go undefeated in the regular season and meet the PATRIOTS in the Playoffs.. that would be THE GAME of the Year and pretty much forecast this year's SuperBowl Champions because I just don't see an NFC team that comes close to the PATRIOTS or the CLOTS.

You might be "RadioFan" but you weren't listening to the same Tampa program I was all week. 620 WDAE. Ian Beckles & Ron Diaz were both predicting big wins because the weather would be a non factor.RadioFan wrote:Tampa sports radio callers and hosts were pretty prophetic. Steve Dumeig (sp) was calling for a Tampa Bay asskicking at the hands of Joey Galloway running all over the Pats secondary and "confusing Brady with Ronde Barber roaming the field."

You're not saying they're your SB favorite this yr, are you?PSUFAN wrote:Good call. I also think the Pats will get over again.
Or did your sarcasm fly completely over my head?
Oh Cicero, this guy (Dumeig) is from Philly and when they were hot, he was all over their jocks.
I still listen. It's all that comes in clearly enough in my office.

If the Patriots can maintain the type of intensity that they showed vs. the Bucs they could go all the way again. Brady and the offense withstood a blistering defense and hung 28 on it. Just as last year the secondary is in a shambles but here is the thing that NE thrives on: They outmatch their opponent with a physically VIOLENT defensive front and pressure the quarterback relentlessly. In turn that takes some of the heat of the depleted secondary. New England's D-line and linebackers are basically intact now and can handle the load. This could be a real fun playeoffs again. BRING IT ON! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

Unless the 6 seed beats the 3 in the first round of the playoffs, the Patriots will play the Colts in the AFC Semi-Finals. At this point, Cinci has a 50/50 shot of being the 3rd seed. The odds of the scenario you presented of actually playing itself out are slim and none.Show Us Your Tits wrote:Here's how it plays out. Fine, they will beat them in round two. You sound like a bitter Colts fan. Fact is, I am prophetic when you consider that the Chargers came in and locked up the Colts IN Indianapolis. Meanwhile you have the Pats shutting out Tampa and looking tougher and tougher.
I was also prophetic in saying the Bears should make a change at QB and stick Grossman in.
Scoreboard.
Blow me.
I'd be a little worried if I ran into the Patriots in the playoffs. They are playing well and getting healthy at the right time. I have to believe that effort from the Colts wasn't their best performance possible. They've home field...they're still the favorites but watch out for the Patriots for sure.

How about the odds being fairly certain, you sack of severed frog gonads?UCant Unretires Again wrote:

I watch Dumeig on the Golf Channel's 19th Hole show. It's a pretty good golf talk show. But I'm guessing he screams a little more when he's on the radio?chowd103 wrote:You're not saying they're your SB favorite this yr, are you?PSUFAN wrote:Good call. I also think the Pats will get over again.

Dumeig does know golf. I will give you that. He is just the biggest Bucs homer and I understand that his station is the flagship for the Bucs, but his rose colored glasses often get in the way of him making rational points about the Bucs chances. His knowledge of sports doesnt go very far past golf and the Bucs and he sounds like an idiot when he talks about sports other than those two.
Certain that you KYOA with the above post? 100%. Re-read your initial post in this thread and tell me again you're correct:Show Us Your Tits wrote:How about the odds being fairly certain, you sack of severed frog gonads?![]()
