Bolts vs. Chiefs.....
....let's get our shots called early. Chiefs open as a 1 point Dog at home. The Bolts have a prayer at the playoffs if they win out and get some help, the Chiefs are playing to avoid another sweep at the hands of the Bolts.
IF, I say IF the Bolts come out gainst Green like they did Manning, I see a pretty convincing win. The Bolts pressured Manning like no other last week and made him look human. With the pass rush the Bolts have developed, the D backs have been doing a much better job staying in the same zip code with receivers. The Bolts offense will have no trouble moving the ball on the Chiefs D.
L.J. vs. L.T. hate to say it, but it could be a wash. L.J. is a bonifide star and a force to be reconed with. With Eric parker probably out, I give the Chiefs a slight edge at WR. Kennison and McCardell about even, S.Parker and Reche Caldwell have both shown questionable hands. The Bolts big (6'5" 240 lb.) rookie Vincent Jackson could be a factor, he grabbed 3 ball last week and is finally seeing some action.
Av and sig bets are encouraged, hell so are $$$. Let's get it on!

I don't agree with ya CM, I think the Chiefs are gonna mail this one in after they get behind early in the 1st quarter. The Bolts are gonna come in and bust some heads. While Arrowhead is a tough place to play, last week at the RCA Dome was a nice tuneup for playing in a loud place, and the Bolts should be ready to deal with the "12th man" in the stands, an early lead will quiet the crowd quickly. They still have a shot at the playoffs if they win out and get a little luck/help from some other teams. Stranger things have happened.
I would say yes to any sig/av bets but I'm heading out of town tomorrow morning and will be gone for the duration of the holiday season, internet contact maybe questionable so I would not be able to lay anything down on the DOTRF.

Slim beats none any day, dumbfuck. The Chiefs have just as much a chance of making the playoffs as the Blots do, and even if KC doesn't make it, we can throw a monkey wrench into SD's post-season travel schedule. And we will.SunCoastbabblingmoron wrote:Enjoy the playoffs Blot fan.
You know what you can do with your defeatest, pessimistic attitude, don't you? Sure you do.
As for the game itself, no way in hell do I see the Blots getting up again in back to back road games to win at Arrowhead. Sure, you fags are all full of vim and vigor after knocking off Indy last week to end their undefeated season yadda', yadda', yadda'.... but come crashing back to earth this week and piss right down your leg and right out of playoff contention.
In for the sig bet, Mike.

Call it defeatist , whatever but I am sick of watching a bunch of Corners who couldn't cover my kid sister on a fly route down field and a bunch of Linebackers who couldn't tackle my wife with weights on her feet. This sort of play may be acceptable to you but it isn't to me. I'd rather not make the playoffs so we don't get embarressed again on national television.
And while your running your dick munchers War Wagon where the hell were you again while this thread was going on?

AWOL is fucking right. I was getting called out by our fellow Chiefs fans at the fucking mid way point of the season for still believing. Forgive me if I have caught up with everyone else who had common sense at that point. I held on to hope much longer than most did so you can kiss my ass on this subject. Especially after you didn't even have the balls to sack up and give your thoughts on the matter to begin with.

The Chefs are all but eliminated from the playoffs even if they win. They could eliminate the Chargers, but that's about all.War Wagon wrote: The Chiefs have just as much a chance of making the playoffs as the Blots do, and even if KC doesn't make it, we can throw a monkey wrench into SD's post-season travel schedule.
Despite the fact that this will make 2 weeks in a row that they have to be up for a big game- and despite the fact that Schottenheimer has a tendency to find a way to blow the big game, I think the Chargers get lucky and come away with a win this week.

Oh really? So what is your 'records' at predicting games then? My record in T1B picks game is 148-76. Funny, I don't see your name on that list.SunCoastSooner wrote: Based on your previous records at predicting games I'll stick with mine.
It's really quite simple then. Quit watching. And while you're at it, quit bringing the weak, pathetic drivel your feeble mind contrives as a take into an AFC West rivalry thread, and I'll quit drop kicking it into next season.Call it defeatist , whatever but I am sick of watching...
Well, isn't that special. So if we beat both SD and CIN, Pit loses at Cle, and Dungver beats SD next week, we should just tell Tags, "nope, sorry. We don't want your stinking playoff spot", because some dude in FL doen't want to be em-bare-assed on national TV?I'd rather not make the playoffs so we don't get embarressed again on national television.
Here's a clue sparky. Worry more about not making a fool of yourself here, and let the Chiefs worry about how they will fare in the playoffs, should they qualify, on national television even.
Oops sorry, I chose not to spend any time on that. I tend to focus on what my team is doing, not anyone elses. Sue me. Tell ya' what. Speaking of common sense, you might want to go back and look at LT's numbers the last few times he's faced the Chiefs (hint: they aren't very good) before making yourself look like even more of a clueless gimp....not that that's even possible at this point. We couldn't stop tiki Barber and he thinks we'll shutdown Tomlinson how do you talk common sense to someone like that?

Still a bummer you won't make the game, Mike
I bought a couple tix for below face value and am sending my Dad and Son # 1.
As for my breakdown.......... of the game
This is KC's Playoff game, so maybe they'll show up.
Our December record is............ Blah, blah, blah.
The Chargers coming off an emotional win are sure for a let dow...... yadda, yadda, yadda

Funny considering you seem to be the last person with any of these opinions left. Even the other Chiefs on this board gave up on the playoffs weeks ago I atleast held out until Tiki started setting records on our asses and Gunther to gett fined for making an ass of himself on national television.War Wagon wrote:Oh really? If not for the Chiefs OLine we wouldn't even be above .500. The defense is a joke and we are relying on a bunch of losses to even smell a road game wild card birth. I call a spade a spade; I don't look at cow shit and call it roses.
I have been a Chiefs fans my entire damn life. I'm not just some ass in Florida I was born in Kansas, my family is from Kansas. Until my grandfather's passing he was a season ticket holder for over 20 years for the Chiefs. While I was still a kid he used to fly us up to KC for five or six games a year. I am a dedicated Chiefs fan. No I don't have season tickets and probably never will because quite simply OU football is more important and it is difficult enough getting out to Oklahoma six or seven times a year without complicating things further by throwing KC into the mix.
I'm sorry you can't accept that our defense is one of the worst in the frigging NFL. The only reason we are even competitive is because we have a QB that can throw for 3,000 yards a season, a receiver who makes over 1,000 yards a season, and two TBs who are capable of breaking a big game every game. With numbers like that we shouyld be fighting for home field advantage not a spot on the road in a wild card game. But can the defense hold it's end up? Hell no. Kawika Mitchell is leading tackler for God's sake followed by a rookie LB. Surtain and Warfield couldn't cover my little sister, like I stated earlier.
Have you ever seen a defense tackle as poorly as this years Chiefs team in the NFL?

This explains a lot.I'm not just some ass in Florida I was born in Kansas, my family is from Kansas.
Just clowning you, dude. Get on with your bad self.
Upon first thought, Paul would simply be racked, and I'd say some shit like "Ditto," or what have you. Thinking further, one would tend to think SD would be in for a let down after beating Indy, while KC look foward to returning home and restoring a bit of dignity.KC Paul 3.0 wrote:Hell, I'll probably incur the wrath of Wags with my take on this game, but here goes. My Chiefs showed me last weekend that they just don't have the SACK to earn their way into the playoffs. The way they played against the Jints was ABSOLUTELY INEXCUSABLE and REPREHENSIBLE. Any team that plays that badly has NO business getting into the playoffs. PERIOD.
SD impressed the HELL outta me last weekend, by going into the best team in the NFL's crib, slapping their mammas, and eating their cookies. And until we have ANY kind of answer for Antonio Gates, Dude will shred us apart just like he always does. If that SD defense plays anything like they did against IND, then Trent's gonna get KILLED.
Blots- 28
Chiefs- 24
Sounds good for either side, but who fucking knows!
Truth in all of this is ........ either of these teams could beat any team on any fucking day ......... or turn right around and could lose to any team on any fucking day. We all know what this means, and thats the facts that this game really means nothing other than bragging rights for one game, and that neither team will be in the playoffs.

Not surprisingly I like the Chargers. They simply have more to play for, usually play better as road dogs, and despite their record are better than last year because the defense can now pressure the QB consistently. The Chiefs will keep it close until the 2nd half when the bottom drops out.
Chargers - 31
Griefs - 21
PS - I read that former Charger QB Cleo Lemon who the Bolts traded to Miami during the season gave Nick Saben and the Dolphin defense SD's audibles.
And...of course Marty didn't change them up for their game Vs the Fins, so they knew where the play was going the whole game.
No matter the year or the team, Marty will always be the weakest link for the Chargers in meaningful games.
