The DB had his left arm pulling on Manningham's left arm. There was no PI on the reach over with the right, it came when the DB was pulling the other arm away.

I have never, and will never, blame officials for a loss, but those guys were fucking horrible. The fact that UofM had to burn two timeouts to get a review was terrible.

And does Tyler Ecker have the least amount of common sense in college football? First the mensa doesn't go out of bounds at the end of the OSU game, and now he decides he is going to be the hero and try to run 50+ yards with the ball, when Steve Breaston was right next to him. Tyler, next time give it to the fast guy and block your ass off.

Guess it depends on each's perspective. I personally didn't see PI. Like I said, one view (the camera angle from behind the endzone), shows possible PI, but is deceiving. It appears Manningham's left arm is being pulled back due to the camera angle, but I don't think so. Manningham is naturally turning that way back for the ball making it appear he is being pulled. Just my perspective.

And, no, Nebraska will not compete for a Natl. Championship again anytime soon...hmmm..as a top recruit I can go to Austin...LA...etc., etc...or I can go to Lincoln, Nebraska??? Buwaahhh...

I understand what you are saying, but to me it appeared that he had his arm on the inside of his elbow. I typically give the benefit of the doubt to the official, but those guys were so bad last night that I was questioning every call.

I'm excited anytime Nebraska wins, especially to Michigan who was ranked #20. Speaking of dumbing down expectations, Michigan acted like they were too good to be there. You lost four times guys! Admit that you kinda suck and play like you mean it.

The way I see it, if you're not playing for the national title, you don't have much to be proud of. They were a young team and they had some key injuries but this is a team that consistently wins 9 or 10 games annually. I'm not going to act like the sky is falling on Michigan's program...I expect to see a rebound year next year. Win or loss last night, this was not a successful season. You can have this game, Nebraska...I didn't care either way.

the sky is falling. we have a shitty coach and went 7-5. 7-5 is only winning b/c we got to play eastern michigan, n. illinois, indiana, and michigan state. that's 3-5 against real teams.

Do you think Nebraska was happy to be in the 2000 Alamo Bowl when they lost a shot at potentially playing for a national championship when they lost to KSU a few weeks earlier? NU was ranked No. 4 at the time of their KSU loss and even though they were disappointed about not playing in a better bowl as the No. 9 team with a 9-2 record when they faced Northwestern, they went out, played hard and killed Northwestern like they should have. Yes, it was a disappointing season and yes, they shouldn't have been there. It's not about where you should have been. It's about team pride. You should always want to win regardless on how you got there.

They would have met for a rematch in the Big 12 championship, so there was still a shot had they managed to beat OU there.

you might also note that Oklahoma dominated Michigan in the 75 Orange Bowl for the NC.
