Who woulda thunk it?
After the Oregon Oklahoma game, last year, if somebody told you that OU/UO would play again in each of the next two seasons and Oregon would be the favorite in both games, you'd have told them to put the crack pipe down...
Unfortunately for the Sooners, Oklahoma's offense plays into our defense's strengths. And our corners have been eating up mediocre QBs all season. We led the nation in interceptions per game and Bomar's 9 INTs/9 TDs doesn't exactly strike fear into me.
I don't see us having a letdown, like Cal last year, either. This team didn't play in a bowl game last year and I think is more excited about getting one than disapointed about which bowl game that it is. It probably doesn't hurt that you guys blew us out last year, in terms of getting our players' attention either.
So yeah, sig bet..sure. Bring it on.

If you win by less than 17, then you are not as good as Ucla....

I'm down for a sig bet. Besides, those hippies from Eugene won't know what hit'em when we unleash Kejuan Jones off tackle on third and 3. The shock of such a bad call will lull the Ducks into a false confidence. But we all know that the only thing people from the northwest are good at is smokin' weed and smellin' bad. Well, you commie freaks, we're pretty keen on huntin' in Oklahoma and Bob Stoops has a hankerin' for some Duck jerky.

If the whole OU contingent buys off on that bet, and OU loses, there won't be much of a board anymore. Just sayin'.quacker backer wrote:you can all go piss on yourself!!!

sig bet is on
I would almost be willing to do the board a favor and suggest that the loser never posts again

SAN DIEGO (AP): It was announced this evening that the Spread offense, previously thought to be invincible, is now a has-been offense. Defenses have figured out that the way to stop the Spread is to put pressure on the quarterback, which is the same way to stop any offense. Oregon's embarassing performance in the Holiday Bowl comes on the heels of an 0-12 season by Hal Mummie, the co-inventor of the Spread, and Cal's defeat of BYU in the Las Vegas Bowl.
When asked for a comment, Oregon coach Mike Bellotti said, "We just sucked. Oregon sucks. Eugene is cold and rainy. I'm off to the NFL, where at least I can play indoors."

I thought they played on par with Pac Ten standards for the most part.Mikey wrote:Jeezus.
Can the Ducks possibly suck any worse?
A total embarassment to the Pac10 at this point.
Nobody named Leaf should ever be allowed to play QB anywhere.
I wonder if Dins will show his face after all the smack he ran on smackbat the day the board was down? I wonder if he still feels pretty good about that point spread.
