Halftime thoughts???

Post by Rack Fu »

Two bad calls by the refs:

1. V. Young was down on that option pitch S. Young, shouldn't have been a TD.
2. That was pick by, I believe, Drew Kelson, on that ball thrown by Leinart with a couple minutes left in the half. Should've been UT's ball.

Good game by Texas so far. UT is having trouble controlling USC's running game but the secondary is doing a good job of controlling the receivers. Leinart has some yards but he hasn't been much of a factor.

USC has no answer for Vince Young. He's doing whatever he wants to do.

One thing that Texas is doing is that they're really hittin' some folks hard. They have laid the wood to a few Trojans so far. Texas is making sure that USC pays for every play.

Looking forward to the second half.

I think USC squandered some scoring chances.

1) Should have kicked the 3 instead of going for it. That would have put them up Ten and kept the momentum on their side.

2) The Bush flip was stupid. They were down inside the 20 and had everything going for them. It really should be 17-16.

Its not though and USC is going to have to find an answer for Young. I think that USC is going to have to force a turnover or two and capitalize w/ at least 7 points.

I see USC scoring 17, Texas scoring 10 and USC wins by 1. Why should my team be the only one to get fucked by suspect kicking?

yeah , leinhart got his bell rung pretty good on that running play. young would get nailed too, if the sc defense ever catches him. that fukker moves almost as well as bush.

USC's O-line is doing a great job thus far in the second half. Hence the score as this is typed: USC 24 Texas 23

I expect Texas to have their way with SC's D again, though. Texas adjusts on D and Leinert throws 2 more picks.
