Pick your poison. Jones is the only one who can man up to either of them.

We need to stop the fouling. Granted, the VAST majority of the fouls were as ticky tack as could be. The home cooking must not have been as good as it was in Nebraska where the refs called 34 fouls on A&M vs. 21 the other way. You could definitely tell they tried to make up for the first half by calling a few ticky tack fouls on OU at the start of the second half, but OU had already gotten to climb back to tie it up.

The difference in the game was definitely the free throws. All the fouls in the first half called on A&M ended up giving OU 16 free throws where they made 11 of them. A&M only had 8 free throws and made 5 of them. Our overall percentage was higher than OU< but we just didn't get to the stripe as often.

Good game for OU. The Ags are getting beter, but it is stillt he same problem as we have year in and year out. We always seem tobe able to hang for 3/4 of the game, but no depth and we lose out in the end. In the past we get blown out in that last 1/4 of the game. At least now we are losing at the wire.

Anyhow, with two freshman, two sophomores and a junior starting right now, I like our chances next year. This year, I am hoping we can make a run and at least be on the bubble for the tourney. At the very least, we need to make a run in the NIT. However, I really won't be happy if we don't make the tourney. I really think we can go 8-8 in conference. That would put us at 19-8 on the regular season. If we make it to the third round in the conf. tourney, I think we have a shot at an invite.

The only problem that you're gonna run into is when does Wright decide to leave? As tough as you've played some of your games this year, I wouldn't be suprised to see you in the postseason this year. NCAA's? Probably not, which sucks, 'cause I think that you'd be a good bet for a first round upset. NIT? Yeah, and you could make one Hell of a run in it.

But, I'd be happy with OU getting a bid at this point... Another lackluster performance that Taj basically willed us out of. But our defense (allegedly) keeps us in games, even when the offense sputters.

I don't see Wright leaving after this year. He really hasn't been that impressive, not to the point of getting a 1st or 2nd round look. If he stays one more year, he will get a LOT more publicity due to the simple fact we will do a LOT better in the XII.

Player's don't necessarily stay in college or leave for the pros based on reality.......a sad but true fact.
