1st time I e'er heard the Alanis Morrisette breakthrough single"You Oughta Know", I thought it was a Ween song. I was driving home from college, heard this obnoxious screeching and thought Ween had a new song out.

every thread should have weenradio linked so you can hear what they're playing as you read.

I'd be concerned about my own musical taste if you did like Ween. You like Days of the New, for christ's sake. Don't you have an appointment in the cooking forum right about now?

I should have known that this forum would be waiting for me when I came to this board. It appears that the band whose career is most indebted to the highly esteemed (salute and smile when I say their name, you uncreative scabs) They Might Be Giants are now being placed on a pedistal. Yes, the band who brought us such lyrical breeding grounds as The Mollusk, Spinal Meningitis, and The HIV Song are now given a permanent home. Truly, this is a much better spot than where they usually reside: in the $.99 bargain bin between Violent Femmes and Belly. Well, it's nice to see that there is someplace for them to receive love. It's even the place where the Emperor, indeed, is wearing clothes. Peace!!!
