Look at their legs. Something seems a bit off about the legs. Also, look at her shoes. You can see hers, but you can't see the rest of them. And how often are the cheerleaders directly behind the endzone? Typically they are on the sideline/corner of the endzone.
Even if the group is behind the endzone, I think the pic of her may be wytched.

Killian,
For what it is worth, that is exactly where they were standing the whole game. The USC band was to our left was we look at the picture and to the cheerleaders right. They were right behind the goal post and never moved the whole game.

Looks like the real deal to me Killian.Killian wrote:Look at their legs. Something seems a bit off about the legs. Also, look at her shoes. You can see hers, but you can't see the rest of them. The shadows from top / left match on all the cheerleaders.
The focus (or lack of) match throught-out.
I think it's just a case of an out of focus blonde co-ed. Not unusual.

She's jumping.

Sorry Kill but m2 gets a RACK for that. She's a big girl...looks about 5-10 or 5-11 if the other ladies are average height. She's got legs for days but she's got a '50s hairstyle though.

I thought it was a wytch because she is just so damn huge. I know at IU, they require cheerleaders to be 100 lbs or less. That's why my cousin didn't make the team there. She was like 110 so she ended up cheering at Purdue. I know not all schools have that requirement, but this SC cheerleader is farkin huge. Just doesn't make sense...

Just so I am sure I understand. She could'nt cut mustard at IU so she transfered to Purdue so she could be a cheerleader?
One might infer that their is some sort of yell leader gene runing amuck in the frisco gene pool.

Naw, the only talent you have to have to be a yell leader at ATM is...well...nothing. It just takes being in the corps, wearing white coveralls on game days, denim coveralls other days, and the enough coordination to move your hands together.
His cousin on the other hand must have had some talent. Purdue requires their cheerleaders to tumble, toss, etc. ;)

The only way a weight limit that stringent makes sense is where you have a co-ed cheerleading team and the men have to lift the women. I could be wrong about this, but I think the USC Song Girls are a bit different in that regard, and there are no male cheerleaders at USC. Under those circumstances, I can't see such a stringent weight limit.IndyFrisco wrote:I thought it was a wytch because she is just so damn huge. at IU the cheerleaders spend half the game with a male cheerleaders hand up their butt, Song girls dont do any acrobatics.
They have been saying it was a Wytch on other boards, if she was jumping her skirt would be moving and her hair as well as that the shadows on her leg are on the other side of the shadows on the other song girls legs. I havent been able to stomach any replays to see if that was her real reaction or not.

Not disputing you, Indy, just pointing out that a weight limit that low doesn't really make any sense unless there are guys on the cheerleading squad and they're doing a lot of lifts.IndyFrisco wrote:And yes, the weight limit at IU is that stringent.

Sorry Terry, but I don't know the ins and outs of cheerleading. Only what I've been told from my cuz. I've gone to a lot of IU football games, and I don't really pay attention to the cheerleaders, but I don't ever recall seeing any dudes there.
In any case, I don't see this USC cheerleader being tossed up in the air much unless they have a catapult and net.

Neither do I, except for what I've absorbed through osmosis by seeing my stepdaughter cheerlead for most of the past decade or so.IndyFrisco wrote:Sorry Terry, but I don't know the ins and outs of cheerleading.
I honestly don't know whether IU's cheerleading squad is co-ed or not. I know ND's is, and in fact, a guy in my dorm was on the cheerleading team (I think I posted my "Think of Laura" story, but it might have been on the main board). Without knowing for sure, I would venture a guess that the majority of cheerleading squads at 1-A schools are co-ed, but obviously, some are not.Only what I've been told from my cuz. I remember when the Song Girls came to ND, most of the male students (myself included) were swooning over them. I'm pretty sure that they come sans dudes. In any case, I don't see this USC cheerleader being tossed up in the air much unless they have a catapult and net.

Shoalzie, It's another illusion.
She looks a lot taller than the other girls, because she's jumping and she has her arms straight up in the air... giving her the illusion of being much taller than the girls that are standing.
At most... she's a couple of inches taller than the other girls.

Thanks for clearing that up. Now we don't have to be so concerned about lil frisco. :PIndyFrisco wrote:Well, it is actually my cousin-in-law. It's my wife's cousin. She knew when she graduated high school she wouldn't be able to cheer for IU so she never went there. She went to Purdue instead.

Does any one else see this thread going the way of the quinn sisters?

This is obviously not the VY TD run to win the game. It looks like a close play at the goal line, I can't remember one of those though. But look at the Texas players, claiming TD and looking over at the Line Judge to see if he agrees.
She thinks, I guess, that SC stopped them. I dunno, did they? I can't remember.

I think it was the 2-point conversion after VY scored the winning TD.
She was probably still cheering from the play before. :D
