I wonder if there will be any big surprises this year? Decommits have become all of the rage... I guess anything's possible.

It will certainly be interesting to see where Vidal Hazelton faxes his papers.

What I've heard is that his dad is pushing for PSU...and that Vidal is still interested in USC, and still trying to talk other top guys to go there as well. I'm taking all of the "VH1 to PSU" pronouncements with as much salt as possible.

Biggest news I've heard in the last couple days is that DB Jai Eugene is serving up a nice big shitburger for LLLoyd Carr and will commit to LSU instead, after verballing to UM during the Army All-Star game. :twisted:

Not a lot of hope out there for A&M. Michael Morgan is the last one on the top 100 of rivals that is even considering A&M. He's also interested in USC and FSU. We need all the help we can get at LB so I'm really hoping this guy pans out for us.

He held a presser on Fox Sports where he was supposed to announce his intentions but all he did was "eliminate" Oklahoma. I wouldn't exactly call it like that because the coaching staff at OU told him weeks ago we didn't have any room left and he waited to long to make a decision but hey whatever makes a kid feal better. I would have liked to have had him in Norman but this class is already full, we don't have room to over sign this year, and we are pretty loaded at LB already. He is going to be a good player but not so good that we could afford continuing to hold one of those last three schollies for him with Beeler (who is at a position we deseperatly need), Gresham, and McCoy still needing room if/when they come to Norman.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Morgan go to A&M. His brother says it's A&M. Throw that in with the fact that it has been reported that A&M has really been talking about the last texas backer to sign with FSU (Devaugn Darling) to Morgan and his family. That is some serious negative recruiting in action...but hey whatever works right?

Devaugn is the kid who died during practice a few years back if you don't remember.

FSU LB class is really filling up too, just picked up Watson and Marcus Ball...Morgan might see that as another negative. It will be an interesting story to follow.

Not really. Congrats on Walker...I would take that big mule JUCO over Rose anyday. Walker could start next year for us...a team that is basically desperate for OL.

Don't get me wrong...not crying about Rose...just really wanted another JUCO to go with Boatman.

I'm not for sure why it was brought up to his family and I'm certain is was spun in a way to make FSU negative, I'm not saying they were saying..."you're next".....just using any type of ammo they can find. I certainly wouldn't think it would help things, but Morgan brought it up to FSU coaches...that's how FSU got word. These kids are very impressionable and under a ton of stress...it's hard to say if they would believe it or not....He'll commit tonight....so we shall see what happens soon enough.

I hope Ball committing doesnt ruin our chances w/ Morgan. Ball prolly want qualify and will have to go to Prep School, where as Morgan could come in and contribute on Special Teams.

Nice pick up in McDaniel and Robinson. On the Rivals board last night at Midnight, McDaniel committed. Lets hope Daron Rose, Marcus Sims, Spiller, Jenjie and Deas feel the same today.

Robinson is not committed yet...it just looks like that is going to happen.

Also, I know this is going to hurt you.....but........Spiller has supposedly eliminated FSU from consideration and is now down to Clemson and UF. I'm VERY happy about this. Marcus Sims.....welcome brother.

Rumors are just that....BUT, if that does happen....look for SC to jump to the #1 class and FSU to climb in at #2. Now that would be a good day.

I thought Rainey wasn't as slight as Spiller? Either way, I hope you guys stay the hell away from Noel Devine. Fucking trainwreck.

The Harvin situation is funny. If he goes to USC, ND has to face him 3-4 times in his career, but we get to see T REX melt like no other. If he goes to UF, ND likely won't have to face him, but we won't see the melt.

Talk about a rock and a hard place.
