I have a pop punk co-worker who knew little of Fugazi. Just this morning I asked him if he was familiar with Rites of Spring and he said no. Damned youth of today familiar with Epitaph crap but never woke up with a piece of the past caught in their throat.

Please direct me to any good Fugazi. I've basically ignored them for their entire existence. I knew too many prim acolytes who lived in their footsteps, as a result I turned my gaze elsewhere.

repeater is a damn fine record. they've also been putting out a live series of records....but i haven't heard any of them.

saw them in about 92 in Denver. great show. in one fall i saw the Pixies, SY, and fugazi at the same venue in Denver....and i'd have to say that the fugazi show was the best among the 3. and i'm a SY whore.

Nostalgia sez try anything up to In on the Kill Taker. Some kids ain't so down with Steady Diet. I started DLing a bunch of this and Minor Threat a couple days ago for nostalgia sake.

Got into Rites of Spring when a girly girl put it on a mixed tape for me. Yes, a girl giving a boy a mixed tape.

Get 13 Songs, PSU. Waiting Room is probably my favourite lead track of all time. And get the Instrument DVD. "Ice cream eating motherfucker".

I've seen them twice. The first show is immortalized in one of those Live Series discs that King Crimson mentioned (and I keep forgetting to buy).

I have to say I haven't listened to a single band referenced in this thread.

But I am willing to sample YSI links.

When it comes to music, I cast a WIDE net.

I'll put a YSI link up for Rites of Spring in a few days. My vinyl won't fit through the internet, I also have a disc, a friend is borrying it.
