Confidence Superbowl

Post by kcdave »

To make things easier in scoring, and so everyone know exactly where there are at, I have reveresed the standings from negative to positive.

RSoxfan 39
godzilla 32
Bucmonkey 32
Shine 32
Cueball 32
kcdave 31
Prototype 30
Wags 28
poptart 28
xtreme 28
Joe in PB 24
Solo 22
Packwin 22
dtownmike 22
KC Scott 21
KUTTER 19
Dallasfan 5
Big Daddy 4

Now that everyone knows exactly where they are at, THIS, will be a true confidence contest. Here is how the contest will work.

1. Pick a team.

2. Look at the points you have won thus far in the postseason contest, and assign at least 1 point to the team you choose. If you wish, you can post your entire point total. You can also be more conservative, and only post part of the points you have won. In other words, using RSoxfan as an example: He, as everyone, MUST post 1 point minimum. He can go as high as his total, which is 39. If his team wins, he will be credited the amount posted, or vice-versa should his team lose.

3. Pick a total combined score for the game. If you nail it, you will get 10 bonus points.
Within 1 point, gets you 4.
Within 2 points gets you 3
Within 3 points gets you 2
Within 4 points gets you 1

Feel free to edit your picks up and until about an hour before kickoff, and good luck everyone.

Pretty cool.

Sorta like Jeopardy.

And no 'All time Best Canadian Military triumphs' questions to answer.

And no dealing with that weasel Alex Trebek.

You're rad', dave. 8)

"Our staff is going to ensure that anyone who attends this University and wears the Indiana uniform will make this privilege among their highest priorities and not treat the opportunity as an entitlement,'' Crean said in a statement. "We fully expect our student-athletes to accept the responsibilities academically, athletically and socially that come with representing one of the top programs in college basketball history."

My stack of 28 chips say the Steelers win 31 - 10
I hate sigs. But I lost a stupid fucking bet because a KC Paul lookalike and his sorry ass team were inferior to the greatness that is the Pittsburg Steelers.
