This will get no argument from me.

I've said all along, PJ is about as overrated a coach as you will find. Tex and the assistants, coupled with coaching teams with great superstars, is what's won PJ 9 titles. Put him on a team with scrubs, and they fail miserably. He's not a Larry Brown type coach where he can get the most out of his talent. He's just good at meshing egos and surrounding himself with solid basketball minds.

All I have to say is how many rings did Jordan win before Phil became coach?

How many rings did Shaq and Kobe have before kobe became coach?

BTW he HAS a team with scrubs sans Kobe, and they are competitive are they not?

You could say the same about Pat Riley then. He already had Magic,Kareem and Co when he took over,he already had Ewing in NY.

Phil doesnt get enough credit IMHO.

The rings and all that credit should go to Tex Winter and the basketball minds. PJ gets credit for preventing superstar meltdowns.

BTW, how did the Phil Jackson coached Bulls fare when MJ retired?

Next question.

He got em to the conference finals and was a game away from going back to the NBA finals.

MGO,

Yeah, Coach Brown is havin a rough year this year, aint he? But you gotta admit he has had a pretty good history of getting more out of his players than other coaches would have. He's been a winner pretty much every where he's gone, regardless if he doesn't win a title every year.

I'm wondering how much this dismal season he's enduring has to do with Isiah. Zeke's always had a dark cloud over his head as someone who makes it difficult for folks in the organization to do things their own way.

Knicks are seriously pathetic. I got that notion watching them get blitzed by my very average Lakers the other night.

I DO know. He pulled off ONE year with smoke and mirrors and when they were headed for .500 ball MJ came back. It certainly wasn't midway. More towards the end of the year. I know my facts bitch. So explain year two when they were getting the shit kicked out of them night in and night out.

This is going nowhere. Baa! Baa!
