I'd hate to imagine missing out on all that great music when I was a toddler. She always made sure that the radio was on. About the first thing I can remember on the radio is "My Guy" by Mary Wells. I can still remember mom singing along to that and signing it especially for me

Not their fault. Acoustically, a terrible place for music.
Anyway, while Toddy was dancing w/ Mom in the kitchen, baking pies, I was forced to listen to either The Andrew Sisters or other shit just like it.
My Mom would sing loud, but in tune. I always told her she was like Cher. Good voice, bad songs.
Weekends were just as bad, musically when Pops would throw in an 8 track of Merle Haggards' "Greatest Collection of Bubblegum Cowboy- Chalkboard Scratch. FUCK!!! Either him or Charley Pride.
