Fran Fraschilla

I can't stand this guy. How in the hell did he get the job calling Big 12 games. The guy is a master of the obvious and not a very good announcer. I thought Sundvold did a hell of a job and I can't imagine why ESPN let him go. Sundvold knew the Big 12 and I thought he did a very nice job calling the games. I think Fraschilla just sucks. Any thoughts from my Big 12 brethren? I may be off my rocker, but I don't think so.

He's announcing because he sucked just as badly as a college coach. As far as his announcing goes I tend to just tune him out.

Fraschilla is pretty lousy. and, if what you read around the net is true, he was running a pretty shady program at UNM. I guess OU fan ought to step up and shoulder some blame since the 1995 Sooners helped put Fran on the map.....with a first round loss as a 4 seed to Manhattan.

I agree 100% about Sunvold.

Fraschilla is terrible and only on ESPN because he's in tight with the northeastern coaching fraternity and therefore at the head of Bristol's list.

Sundvold is my favorite color man, and I wish more networks would go the ex-player route rather than some ex-coach who will spend two hours kissing the asses of both coaches and bringing up ten different coaches who aren't involved with either team during the course of the broadcast.

It's a shame Sundvold's maximum exposure comes in the first weekend of the NCAA tournament while a waste of airtime like Dan Bonner always gets a regional final assignment. Bonner has to be the only guy out there who can take a UNC-Wake game and make it boring for the viewer.

As a Mizzou fan, I get to hear Sunvold do color on a lot of TV games. I really appreciate his takes. He may be a little too midwestern bland for the ESPN boys whilst Fran is a New Yorker and animated.

Good to hear Sunvold is appreciated. Hope you western part of the state fucks don't mind me saying listening to Paul Splitorff do games sucks balls.

Sunvold has some wealth management company that has done very, very well in Columbia. The guy may be targeted for the athletic director's job. For fund-raising he can just hit up his clients.

Sunvold is the ultimate professional!

he's not the flair that ESPN wants, he's the blue collar guy who gets the job done, gives you want you want in a color guy!(see Joe Michaletti)

Supposedly, Sunvold is being asked to be the AD, boosters are trying to get the big boosters together to cruch Currators and get Aldens head!!

they said Sunvold would rather stay a color guy, but his loyalty for MU would let push him to take the gig!
