For one, I dont see it happening. The UN has no way of enforcing this decision and that is why the UN has become obselete. The prisoners at Gitmo are threats to human life in the US and in the Middle East. No one is dying in our prisons and these people are the scum of the Earth anyway. Does the UN really think it is a good idea to set some 500 terrorists free? The US is the world enforcer, so the UN just needs to sit back and let us do our job.

Why should the US listen to them when other countries treat their innocent citizens even worse. I dont see them stepping in to stop the cruel and unusual punisment of the innocent people in many of the dictatorships across the world.

I think Bush should tell them to kiss his ass and I have no doubt that he will.

Unlikely. Even with the Hamas reactor online, the travel distance for their ICBMs is far too great not to be noticed. They would likely be shot down en route to Canada.
