Game is in Tally. Not going to be able to make it Little over a 4 hour drive for me from Tampa. I went to 3-4 while I was at FSU and they are always good games. FSU always brings its A game againt Duke. I was there in 02 and 03 when FSU knocked off Duke at home.

Its a tough game for me. I love FSU and for the for the first time in years they have a legit shot at making the Tourney. A win against Duke tonight and Ga Tech over the weekend would get them in IMO. Duke on the other hand has a perfect ACC season hanging in the balance and the number one overall seed in the tourney at stake.

Fuck dook!

We got robbed in the first. Time to come out swinging in the second.

Funny how coach K use to say the refs were for UNC but now he thinks everyone is crazy for believing that he is getting the calls.

And fuck any fsu "fan" that goes for dook.

He's not coming to USF. McMurphy's article was way off. That asshole has had it in for us the day that the St. Pete Times became USF's official paper.

I knew we were going to be in for a long year, but I didn't expect the rash of injuries we suffered and the death of our players before the season. We're starting a walk on PG in the thoughest conference in the country. With some depth next year we will be winning the close games we have lost this season.

I guess that win puts F$U in the tourney, provided they don't lay an egg against Miami or in the first round of the ACC tournament.

Looking forward to kicking UNC in the throat now....

If only FSU played like that all the time. A lot better team this year than in the past.

You're right, I should've just shut the fuck up. Now your boys and half of Sissyroo's boys will probably win the damn tournament.

Do me a favor though. If that happens, will you move the inevitable Main Street "DUKE WINS!" threads from that tard, in here, please? I'll likely be too pissed to get online.

I wish that the penalty for fans rushing onto the court with the game not over was 6 free throw attempts and the ball. That was the most disgraceful thing I've seen in college hoops this year.
"Our staff is going to ensure that anyone who attends this University and wears the Indiana uniform will make this privilege among their highest priorities and not treat the opportunity as an entitlement,'' Crean said in a statement. "We fully expect our student-athletes to accept the responsibilities academically, athletically and socially that come with representing one of the top programs in college basketball history."

I havent started any threads pimping Duke this year. I have been on much better behavior.

I kinda agree with you.

But FSU knows what happens when we are about to win a ACC game...the refs hand it to the other team in the last seconds. So I am guessing the fans there that night decided to cut the game short so we wouldnt get robbed...again.

Only because your takeless excuse for a brain has split loyalties between tardism and idiocy.

It's just too bad for everyone here that Duke and FSU don't play each other, every day in basketball and football, year round.

Hell no. I don't want to see FSU again for a long while.

I don't know about disgraceful, but it wasn't safe. JJ said he was grabbed briefly before a security guard stepped in. 99% of the time the students just want to celebrate a big win, but sooner or later some drunk asshole is going to jump on a player or coach and the shit will hit the fan. A kid in Arizona had his neck broken in a situation like that.

What really kills me is that every time Duke loses on the road, the students storm the court. You can probably go back 3 or 4 years and look at game reports. It's not like the stadium security isn't aware of this. I don't want to drop huge fines or penalties on schools for doing this (the SEC has a $5000 then $10000 fine, which is a drop in the athletic budget), but the schools should provide enough security to keep BOTH teams safe when it happens.

Disgraceful may not be the best adjective but it was classless, moronic, unsafe and did I mention moronic. How hard is it to wait until the clock is all zeroes before launching into lunacy.

Storming the court in general is WAY out of control and I'm afraid it's going to take a serious injury or death to someone on a big stage for it to finally be curtailed.
