The justification you seek is not within the purview of any life affirming religion... and forget the martyr tag, that's not you. If your goal is to end it all with the trappings of retarded assholishness as your soul's final context and meaning, find yourself some Islam.

The justification you seek is to be found in the Roman Stoic formulation: It is better to die well than to live badly. Indeed, it has been remarked that philosophy in general is the learning of the art of dying.

Anyway, don't do it and quit fukkin' trolling.

Velocet didn't word it in the manner that I would but yeah he is pretty right on. You are seeking justification for an act you want to commit to yourself under no durress concerning your faith. You just want to; wanting to and take your own life and choosing your faith in God or a savior over your life are two completly different matters.

You note the people at Masada as Martyrs and state matter of factly that we'll agree but that is not a fact and obviously you are unaware of the complete story behind this. Many of of the Judaic faith do not consider the rebels of Masada as martyrs and in fact blame them for 1,900 years of seperation from their homeland and for good reason as well. The sect at Masada started the rebellion but once they garnered the full attention of Rome and demanded that Jews follow them in the revolt some followed leaders such as Joseph Flavius instead. The rebels at Masada basically went there and pouted about the matter for 6 years instead of fighting. They started the fight and once it came to real blows just like Mike Tyson they could swing a heavy punch but couldn't take one back. They left the rest of the Jews to fight the fight they started and die for a cause they began.

If you are seeking justification for this you are in the wrong place.

A Martyr is not a suicide, he is a victim. A suicide is a murderer, destroying one made in the image of God, and do so in a way that precludes any future atonement or forgiveness.

Bushido and Shinto faiths may have some other views. But you aren't talking about dying to redeam your honor, so they don't apply.

Like said before...
1) If you're trolling, stop.
2) If you're not, seek help.
3) If you do go through with it, be sure and leave a note to Rack The Trolls.
