If there's a dumber player than Odom in the NBA

I've yet to see him..

Kobe and a bunch of losers. Nice trading, Mitch.

This coming a day after they beat the Heat, and Odom hit a late clutch shot to help seal the deal.

No doubt the Lakers should have got more for Shaq. But they weren't in the best of positions to command alot with other team knowing they could get him without giving anything up eventually.

Much debate on the subject yesterday because of the Heat game, but ultimately I think the Lakers had to trade Shaq. He wasn't motivated enough to get and stay in shape. Say what you will about Kobe, but you can't question his work ethic. Had Shaq stayed, Kobe would have signed with the Clips and the Lakers would be left with a 380lb. underachieving crybaby.

The Lakers are 21-17 and playing better and better each week. I don't think you can call them "Kobe and a bunch of losers" without expecting some argument.

Phil Jax is a good coach and so far he is showing he can take chickenshit and make a decent tasting chicken salad.

I'm a HUGE Kobe fan. He doesn't have much of a supporting cast, however....Odom, with the exception of that last bucket, had a horrible 2nd half.....

Odom reminds me of Kevin Willis.
Hard to believe someone of such size could disappear during games,
while on the court. :P

WTF are you talking about? The Lakers are not playing better, Kome is almost single-handedly winning these games and there is no team to speak of.

This lack of community will really show when Kome gets worn down and/or injuried and the team has to carry the load themselves. And then, if they make the playoffs, all a team has to do is approach them like Detroit has in the past. I predict a first round exit for this facade. Remember, Kome has never won anything w/o Shaq.

So you're saying Kobe defends all five opposing players on the defensive end of things?

That's what I thought.

Idiot.

That's just for starters, but I'm really not interested in shootin more holes in your take. Yes, the Lakers are heavily dependant upon Kobe, much like the Bulls were dependant on MJ. Not calling Kobe MJ, but it's quite similar.

And remember, Shaq hasn't won anything without Kobe either.

Lets go roof, what else you got?

Yes, the Bulls depended on Jordan but he made everyone else on his team a better player. The Bulls were so good because they had so many weapons but the role players only became weapons because Jordan included them all.

And no fucko, Kome doesn't guard all five players, is that really the best you have? Besides that, only a few teams like SA and Det play defense anyway, so that is a moot point.

My point about Kome never winning anything without Shaq had to do with their time on the Lakers. Shaq and Kome were both injured during their last two years together. When Shaq was gone, the Lakers suffered but when Kome was gone, they still excelled.

Anyway, do you really think a team this one-sided has any chance to survive in the playoffs? What has there been, four games where Kome played and wasn't the hi-scorer? Oh yeah, they are real good. So good they did real well when Kome was serving his 2-game suspension, huh?

And what do you have to say to this quote from the game against the Kings:
Bryant played the entire first quarter and demanded the ball on almost every possession. He finished the first half with 26 points, but grew visibly frustrated with his teammates - particularly Odom - when they didn't pass to him every time down the court.
Yeah, no one-sided team there.

How many championships did shaq win without Kobe again?

If you can remove MJ's poster from your ass and take his jock off your grille, maybe you can think more clearly....

How many times has Kobe even gotten to the playoffs without Shaq?

How many times has Shaq gotten to not only the playoffs but the Finals and Conference finals without Kobe.

Thanks for playing Seer.

I read to many English book (meaning literally from England) and was never taught phonics in school I often mistakenly spell things in the English version rather than the American. Just habit and I always will because I have to try and spell from hardwired memory. Kind of like half the time I spell humor humour and so on.
