GW can't beat Dook playing 5 on 8

Post by Shine »

This is the first time I've tossed out the ref card in a Dook game in nearly 2 years, but this is god awful terrible. If GW breathes on Williams it's a foul, meanwhile he's mugging people and not getting called. I'm not sure GW would win in a fair game, but no chance with this horseshit.

As soon as I saw Edward was "officiating" the game I decided to watch something else and just check back every now and then for the score.

I hate Hightower worse than Duke.

Wow, that was my first experience with Hightower. He and Ted Valentine are cut from the same mold. The Asshole Mold.

I don't have a lot of sympathy for a team that shoots 30% from the field and around 20 more shots in the game. Refs called more stuff on the Colonials but they didn't knock down their shots either.

The refs allowing Williams to maul people in the lane changed the entire tempo and flow of the game. Dook very well may have still won but GW had no shot once Eddie's crew went to work. As long as that shit don't happen again I look for the bigs of LSU to have their way in the 16 where Dook will make their near annual exit from the tourney.

LSU was lucky to get by A&M.

I guess when when Duke stomps them it will all be the refs too.

In case you missed it Sissyroo:

IU- 5 banners
Dook- 3 banners

Feel free to not post in this forum, there are enough true Dook fans here to have intelligent conversations with. In case you were wondering, a TRUE fan of a school has never "rooted neutral" on a game their team was involved in.

I'd respond to Diogenes but once Dook is eliminated and/or the tourney is over, we won't see him in this forum for another year.

Is that supposed to be 'smack' or wishfull thinking?

The reason I haven't been posting here for most of the season is simply that my team has been at the top of the polls most of it. It's called being a good sport. If you'd like me to rub it in your faces all next year...

And props for going to the m2 'it's all about what happened 20 years ago' card.

It's just a fresh here as it is for him in the NFL forum.

When was the last time IU won a Title?? 87???? Duke has 3 since then. I will post in this forum cause I am just as big a fan as anyone here. My alma mater is vying to be the 66 best team in the country. I watched them beat Butler and I will watch them on Tuesday. Duke on the other hand, I will watch and root for. I dont know why you dont think you cant have an intelligent baskeball convo w/ me.

Yep. Pretty funny, but you have to remember it is coming from the leader ... errrr, last-place follower of what RJ would call the Goof Troop of Tards in here.

And Dio, since when did you become a Duke fan? Maybe I just missed it, but I've never seen you prop them as hard as you have this year.

Actually I always have been. I used to have the animated blue devil avatar back at TOT, but I can't find the fucker anymore. You didn't see me talking too much about the Suns last season either until the playoffs, why bother when your team is stomping everyone in sight.

As far as me being a 'bandwagonner', anyone who's been in the NFL forum can take that for what it is worth.
