Props Thread...

Post by the_ouskull »

Can I get a mod to sticky this...? :D

----------

Props to:

A&M. Way to sack up, fellas. With your season and Gillespie's coaching, you're gonna be a good team for a while... I hope you're able to keep him.

The Shockers. I picked it. You did it. Finally, a little respect from one of "my teams." :D

Babs. For never letting us down. We need our blow-up doll, and that bitch is you.

I too would like to applaud Bradley...beating two major programs in fairly convincing fashion. These guys can play. Them along with Wichita State are representing the MVC quite well.

And props to George Mason. No matter how this game turns out. If these are 'mid-majors' a couple conferences need to be downgraded to mid-minor.

Wow! Another giant killer...this is another special team heading to the Sweet 16. What a freaky matchup between Wichita State and George Mason...who's considered the underdog? I wonder how these clubs will react to the fact they are competing against a bigger named program. That should be a wild game next week...one of them will be in the Elite 8, believe it or not.

Props to Arizona, the 5th place Pac-10 team, giving 'Nova the 1 seed a tough game....

GMU-WSU is a re-match of one of the Feb. 18 bracket-buster games.....a game GMU won by 3 on WSU's home floor. a little turn of the screw.

Man, this tournament has been absolutely amazing. I've actually gotten to watch more games this year than I usually do.. but I haven't seen a bad one yet... I mean, other than OU's game, which, frankly, just sucked, OU fan or not.

I'm assuming you were pleased with how that turned out. I know you hate Michigan...Friday's result had to make you happy. Do you pull for State in hockey eventhough you go to WMU?

UCLA/Gonzaga is the game I'm looking most forward to. Both are playing great ball right now and I think the winner of this one will represent their region.

WVU is looking real good too. They haven't played a heavy hitter yet, but they're playing like they were last year about this time.

Maybe, maybe not. I dropped a small amount about 3 weeks ago on LSU to win it all at 20-1 odds. They've got a very legit team and have the pieces to give Dook fits.
