Tournament Standings by Conference

In case you were wondering, records of all conferences who received more than one bid in the tourney so far, listed in order of tournament winning percentage . . .

1. ACC: 6-2 record (.750 winning percentage), 5-1 as higher seed, 1-1 as lower seed. Record vs. other conferences: 1-0 vs. A-10; 1-0 vs. Pac-10; 0-1 vs. Big 12, 0-1 vs. CAA.
2. Pac-10: 5-2 record (.714 winning percentage), 4-1 as higher seed, 1-1 as lower seed. Record vs. other conferences: 2-0 vs. Big Ten; 1-0 vs. SEC; 1-0 vs. WAC; 0-1 vs. ACC; 0-1 vs. Big East.
3. Big East: 9-4 record (.692 winning percentage), 8-3 as higher seed, 1-1 as lower seed. Record vs. other conferences: 1-0 vs. Big Ten; 1-0 vs. Pac-10; 2-2 vs. MVC; 1-1 vs. SEC; 0-1 vs. Big 12.
4. MVC: 4-2 record (.667 winning percentage), 1-0 as higher seed, 3-2 as lower seed. Record vs. other conferences: 1-0 vs. Big 12; 1-0 vs. SEC; 2-2 vs. Big East.
5. CAA: 2-1 record (.667 winning percentage), 2-1 as lower seed. Record vs. other conferences: 1-0 vs. ACC; 1-0 vs. Big Ten; 0-1 vs. A-10.
6. C-USA: 2-1 record (.667 winning percentage), 2-0 as higher seed, 0-1 as lower seed. Record vs. other conferences: 0-1 vs. SEC.
7. SEC: 7-4 record (.636 winning percentage), 6-2 as higher seed, 1-2 as lower seed. Record vs. other conferences: 1-0 vs. Big 12; 1-0 vs. C-USA; 1-1 vs. Big East; 0-1 vs. MVC; 0-1 vs. Pac-10.
8. Big 12: 3-3 record (.500 winning percentage), 2-2 as higher seed, 1-1 as lower seed. Record vs. other conferences: 1-0 vs. ACC; 1-0 vs. Big East; 0-1 vs. MVC; 0-1 vs. SEC.
9. Big 10: 3-6 record (.333 winning percentage), out of tournament, 3-4 as higher seed, 0-2 as lower seed. Record vs. other conferences: 2-0 vs. MWC; 0-1 vs. Big East; 0-1 vs. CAA; 0-2 vs. Pac-10.
10. Atlantic 10: 1-2 record (.333 winning percentage), out of tournament, 1-0 as higher seed, 0-2 as lower seed. Record vs. other conferences: 1-0 vs. CAA; 0-1 vs. ACC.
11. MWC: 0-2 record (.000 winning percentage), out of tournament, 0-2 as lower seed. Record vs. other conferences: 0-2 vs. Big Ten.
12: WAC: 0-2 record (.000 winning percentage), out of tournament, 0-1 as higher seed, 0-1 as lower seed. Record vs. other conferences: 0-1 vs. Pac-10.

Same thing I said about the ACC...quality over quantity. I've been on the UCLA bandwagon for a while...I've got them in the Final Four. I thought they could beat any of the Big Ten teams head-to-head for sure. Washington was even better last year when they had Nate Robinson. Arizona is plenty talented every year and gave 'Nova a tough test. You can't judge a team solely on their conference. The Big Ten had parity in it, it wasn't a conference with a handful of title contenders like the Big East.
