That was the rumor about a month ago that he might want out. I think this is the first team I've actually heard of taking interest in him. He's still a Pro Bowl caliber player and a great guy in the lockerroom. He'd be a helluva pickup for anyone.

Him, Al Wilson and DJ Williams. WOuld easily be the best LB corp in the NFL. Even better. If Wilson gets drunk and gets in another accident, Ray can stab the guy to death if he isnt dead already and DJ can rap about it.

Lewis is on the downside of his career. But at least in Denver he would have some good players around him to carry his ass for another year. In B-More Ray is exposed as a has been.

Sad but true.

Still better in his prime than Jack Lambert ever was. :!:

Lewis would be an excellent pick up for Denver...as long as we don't have to give up Al Wilson or Trevor Pryce to get him.

Just make that defense even stronger!

Didn't Anderson sign with the Ravens? I know they re-signed Lewis.

I would be more worried about losing Randy Gradishar, Tom Jackson or Karl Mecklenburg

FTFM.

After the Super Bowl is done, I don't focus a whole lot on the NFL as the NHL, NBA, AFL and NLL are in full swing. It's busy this time of year if you're a Denver sports fan!

I hope we don't have to trade Steve Atwater to get another receiver. :meds:

Tell me that is a joke.

FTFY...

Now, let's try to remember that d-townmike is the same guy who proposed that teams should kick on 3rd down because, if they MISSED, they would get another try on 4th down.

Let's just say that nobody has ever lost money underestimating his football knowledge.

J-cock finally let that go and now you're bringing it back up. That was a mistake that even I admitted because I actually believed someone who said that there is another try if they do a FG on 3rd down.

And for the record, yes, my Steve Atwater reference was a joke.

Reason why I initially thought Pryce was still on the team was because I had not heard that he was sent to the Ravens. Remember, after the super bowl, I'm done with the NFL until August unless something big surfaces such as the Cowboys taking a huge risk with their team and their Locker Room by signing TO.
